Good news from toonhive, the loud house has ended according to staff writer Kevin Sullivan (a 22 year writer for such shows as, fatherhood: the last tv show with involvement of bill cosby, the x's: a cartoon about a spy family made in the 2005/2006 area, the fairly oddparents, danny phantom, tuff puppy, and his final nick show as a writer, the aformentioned loud house.) Basically nick canceled the show and let go of whoever was working on the show. And through this, this has become public.

At least the animes they plagiarize have their strengths. Now it's the same beamouth thing for a decade, close to two decades now, and terrible stories overall. There's that thread about how Steven Universe basically poisoned the well, but still, I would have thought that suits and smart people would have noticed these cartoons won't be watched by anyone but their creators.

On top of that, I think the suits either know that now, or are starting to act on that and put the foot down. The usual suspects are not happy about Sony's decision.

So the rumors about The Loud House ending are getting to me is it actually true, how is it even allowed? I looked it up and AI told me that it's not cancelled. But google says that it might be. Making Fanfics that are longer than actual episodes, he Characters Crossovers with other shows because we care enough to imagine them in other situations and if you know the fandom we will be arguing for HOURS about The Most Hated Episodes and The Most Loved Episodes, we like to do making Fanarts (aside From The Weird inflation Character fatness and no that’s not what I’m talking about so don’t even try to bring that queasy ass slop up). We Make fan Animation. Actual projects, stuff that just takes effort and time. We all do Those Kinds Of Stuff because we actually care. Because the show mattered enough for people to create instead of just consume and forget. That doesn’t happen with “trash” shows that nobody likes. So how do you just end TLH like that and act like it doesn’t matter? the fact that there are rumors at all and mixed answers from AI and Google is sloppy and retarded.

Could have been done so much better if he was "Captain Dave" or whatever the character's real name is and he's just the local garbage man who is completely boring, uninteresting, and not particularly smart but babysits the kids and makes sure they clean up. He could look and sound exactly the same and it would be a much better joke where the blaxploitation-esque superhero is "older brother's friend who mows our lawn sometimes".

I said as much in the AAA thread, they literally got black people making cartoons and characters for black people, probably even voiced by black people, and it still isn't good enough. They just want to complain.

Here was another animation industrial related thing that I also crossposted (this time from both the mati and western animation thread) in march, warner bros is giving tubi (free streaming service) a massive archive of their classic cartoons and shorts (from stuff from the hanna barbera archive, to stuff from warner's tv animation studio and cartoon network studios)

Nobody wants to defend the soulles corporate suits, but at the end of the day you have to move copy. These shows didn't. They instead decided to target the terminally online crowd, a crowd that has got to be the worst demographic to target: doesn't watch, only shares highlight clips, tries to hijack your creative process, and perpetually aggrieved. You had your chance and you fucking blew it.

Because niggers are overthunking a show aimed at preschoolers, because hes named captain durag, because he's a big "black man", because the people behind the show didn't gibs licenses to marvel for any of its black characters. because he's a janny and cleans stuff up, and most of all because they posted this clip during black history month. So they talk about how his bunny sidekick is a "snowbunny", because a white bunny equal a fat white chick, he lives in "slime city" so they think he lives in the slums or the ghetto, they then add all these other things that paint niggers in a bad (and often true) way be it though making up fake sidekicks or saying "why not call him super nigga, or he may as well live in kool-aid city." The joke is that niggers are taking something for kids too seriously. But its not their fault for overthunking, its the "yt kraka ass peebuh at the disney company doing this shit during black history month."
