The group I'm in had a weird bit of drama when an old admin stepped down and brought in a new person.
The new admin immediately banned someone, publically announcing it too.
Issue was, the person kicked out was not only very austic, he wasn't that bad. Annoying, sure, but no worse than some others there. If he was any danger, no one ever saw proof.
It was a huge mess and the new admin was kicked out because of it, and we lost about 20 people who were upset.
Lumin attended Furpocalypse this weekend, where he took photos at the FurConAI booth that were automatically posted to their Telegram channel. This is the first furry event he's been spotted at since his mass ban earlier this year.
I've only heard two things about Lumin in the con space so far:
-Lumin was reportedly interrupting people with loud shouting or random sounds in the lobby and during panels. I've only heard this secondhand, but since Lumin has gotten repeated complaints at previous events for the exact same thing, it seems plausible.
-Allegedly, Lumin ran up to the popular furry ShepGoesBlep and Shep flipped him off. Again, there's no evidence this actually happened, but if it did, that’s hilarious.
As promised, I went through the Furpocalypse Telegram chat and found some highlights of Lumin's time there. This took me way longer than expected due to Lumin posting an ungodly number of times, but I found a few really funny moments. Also, @Platinum Cat reached out and showed me a few tricks to search Telegram archives more efficiently (semper fi for that, by the way, Platinum), so I made sure to screencap all the funny stuff I could find.
Disclaimer: Most of this isn't in chronological order. I tried to keep individual conversations in order, but due to the nature of searching, these screenshots do jump around a little.

The next batch of screenshots features Lumin talking about his time in college, covering a period from late August 2023 until around October of the same year. As a refresher, Lumin discussed his college experiences in a video he uploaded. According to him, he didn’t acclimate to college well at all, failed all his classes, and dropped out barely halfway through the semester. He also shared a bizarre story in which he claimed he was arrested by police for simply placing a water bottle on a table.

Standards now are very low. Its been a continuous process since at least the 90s of making college more and more into businesses. They want more customers so the real bar of entry is can you pay/raise loans, not ability or intellect. Theres also this growing idea that everyone should be educated which means the bar is lowered for accessibility sake.
Combine this with it being so hard to fail high schoolers due to paperwork justifying it than formerly D and F students getting Cs to be pushed out the door, and many colleges now taking C students, and its literally a holding tank for retarded middle class and above people now.
Who's ready for an old 3-way lolcow crossover? This is a somewhat older Lumin incident that predates most of this thread's existence, but I didn’t have any definitive evidence it even happened until recently. Now that I do, let’s proceed.
If you’ve ever read the thread for BVDGRRL / Sparx Traxx, there’s an incident mentioned in the OP where Sparx got into a slapfight with the Delaware-based group "The Furst State" (TFS). I’m not going to reiterate what makes Sparx a lolcow (you can just read their thread for that) but TFS has lolcow potential of its own (Maybe I'll make a thread about them someday, who knows). They have a well-known monopoly on furry events in the area and a reputation for banning first and asking questions later. The consensus I’ve gathered is that while people enjoy TFS events, they openly despise the people running it due to the management’s bossy and ban-happy tendencies.
The specific Sparx and TFS drama we’re focusing on happened in January 2021. Here’s what we can confirm: Sparx had entered the TFS Telegram chat, and shortly afterward, someone in the chat linked Sparx’s Encyclopedia Dramatica page. Sparx flipped out at the mods because they didn’t notice for about 20–30 minutes and then made a massive Twitter callout about it, ending with the mods banning Sparx and the guy who linked the article. This was documented in much more detail here in Sparx’s thread.
Now, you might be wondering what any of this has to do with Lumin. A year and a half later in August 2022, Lumin joined the TFS chats and, according to him, was immediately banned from both their furmeet chat and the New Year's Furry Ball chat for "lying about his age" (as he was still a minor at the time). Despite being banned, Lumin decided to register for NYFB anyway, only to have his registration cancelled and money refunded almost immediately, and to be told in no uncertain terms not to show up.
How does Lumin respond to this? He organizes a one-man protest outside the hotel during NYFB and creates a public protest sign-up page on the now-defunct website Fursvp, accusing the staff of being transphobic toward him. It is worth noting that Sapphy (the chairman who banned Sparx and Lumin) is transgender themselves. This raises the question of how Sapphy could be considered transphobic when they are also transgender, but I digress.
Unfortunately, the original protest doesn’t appear to have been archived, and since the site no longer exists, all I have is this partial screenshot of the original sign-up page while digging through some Telegram archives. If anyone has a lead on where to find the full text, please let me know.

For the past two years New Year Furry Ball headed by transgender con chair Sapphykinz has been seeing transphobia and doxxing with the Board of Directors failing to address it. On January 1st, 2021, BVDGRRL tried to wish The Furst State chat a happy new year when Grizzleo sent a link to an article of a website that harasses and doxxes transgender people. When BVDGRRL tried to address this to Sapphykinz, they refused to do to immediately, instead "waiting" for their staff team to come to a conclusion.
I (Lumin City) joined these chats in August 2022. On August 31st after Furrydelphia, I was banned from both chats for "lying about my age" and stating they had evidence, despite it being very difficult for me to do so due to my minor badge. On December 16th hours after pre-registering for New Years Furry Ball, I was reminded that I was banned and my payment "refunded". I requested for them to remove all information on me to prevent being doxxed, and they haven't responded to this day.

As for whether Lumin actually showed up, I'm not sure. While I was looking into this, a furry I spoke with claimed they witnessed part of a confrontation at NYFB. Allegedly, Lumin was standing outside talking with cops, and event staff were doing their best to keep people away. However, I have no proof he was or wasn't there, so take this story with a grain of salt.
Regardless, if nothing else, this incident proves that Lumin has been a nuisance for far longer than I originally believed.
Picture the scene: you’re a furry who hasn’t even turned 20 yet. You’re obsessed with furries, and while you’re neither an animal abuser nor a sex pest, you’ve gained infamy as a major creep within the fandom. When people call you out for your behavior, you ignore them. As a result, your reputation precedes you: you're mass-banned from nearly every furry event in the surrounding states, and multiple videos document your actions. So, what do you do?
Well, if you’re Lumin, the answer seems to be: “Ignore everyone, refuse to make amends, and join Antifa”, if his telegram profile is anything to go by.
Two notable points about this:
1) Lumin claims that his profile picture was drawn by someone named "Hearth." Presumably, this refers to HearthFox, who was mentioned in the OP. Lumin has a documented history of aggressively simping for Hearth, including creating a video where he was caught outright lying about an incident where Hearth was clearly in the wrong. At this time, it’s unclear whether Lumin is in regular contact with Hearth or if he simply commissioned the icon and didn't talk with them further.
2) The Furry Antifa thread suggests that Antifa spaces can become inexplicable breeding grounds for extremely degenerate behavior. Will Lumin follow in the footsteps of ADF and rebrand himself as a greasy and heavily tattooed Hispanic trans woman? Only time will tell.
While I'm at it, here's an updated telegram scan of chats he was known to be active in. This is just public chats that he posted in at least once, so there's no indication he's still in there (eg I am aware the furrydelphia chat banned him a while ago, but he still showed up in this scan).

Doing some research, it appears HearthFox likely did take Lumin City's commission unknowing of Lumin City's online presence since Lumin's infamy is spread thin around Twitter much to everyone's dismay or simply not caring about Lumin City's infamy in the fandom.
On December 2nd, Hearthfox would announce that he would be taking a batch of Antifa icons. Now, it seems like I can't find individual posts for the icons because Hearthfox seemingly posts these announcements and no commissions.

One thing to note is the Protogen I've chosen to highlight in this frame of the Bluesky announcement for another batch of Antifa icons. Turns out it is none other than Elite Shark Maniac, the most well known orbited/groomed victim of pedozoo tranny ithole ZrCalo who at one point called himself a zoophile, the one thing HearthFox claims to not want in any of his spaces. Small world!
Lumin has finally found a practical use for his furry mall cop impulses: working with a group that tracks down Nigerian furry scammers, who scam furries with AI art or fake convention room listings. Things seem to be going well until he spergs out and attacks another furry in the group for using an AI profile pic.
The admin (Yumi) makes a public announcement regarding their ban. These screenshots are from a telegram archive Lumin posted himself, it doesn't include the images or the CSS stylesheet.
Lumin tries to guilt trip the admin, saying banning him will only help scammers and actually, AI bros are the biggest scammers.
The admin tells Lumin that the kick resulted in Nedgefrog (owner of "Genderverse Furries") coming in to white knight Lumin. The other furries in the group ask the obvious question: why the hell did the admin tolerate Lumin there, if he knew about his past?
Lumin accuses the admin of ableism and stealing his groupchat's layout. ("Causing a fuss" and "ruckus" is ableist language now according to Lumin).
Lumin runs back to his own scam watch group to complain about them and threatens consequences. He posts the archive that the screenshots above are from.
@derpi This is really interesting stuff. I hadn’t been keeping up with what Lumin was doing on Telegram since it’s a bit harder to follow his activity over there. I knew he was posting frequently in some public chats (easily hundreds of messages a day) but I guess it’s not too surprising that his behavior hasn’t changed much since the bans from several furry spaces over a year ago.
The thumbnails and everything else look great, by the way. I checked out the Telegram channel you linked and found the archive Lumin posted, so I also grabbed a copy of it just in case this gets taken down. I’m a bit busy this week, but when I have some free time I’ll go through it and see if there’s anything else worth noting.

Jesus, this is actually really sad. When I first made the OP, I just thought Lumin was an overly sheltered person who had been told he was never in the wrong until it bit him in the ass in the funniest possible way. But after spending a year being coddled in political echo chambers on Telegram, he’s turned into a fusion of every Antifa/commie roleplay stereotype rolled into one.

Lumin's made tons of crazy claims in the stuff I've read when I worked on this thread, but this is the first time I've ever seen a claim of sexual assault. As far as I know, his first convention was Furrydelphia 2021. If this is true, it makes me wonder why he's refusing to name the person who did it, yet still seems to know them well enough to know who they voted for. What's also odd to me is that he doesn't state the age of the person and doesn't claim they were older than him. Was his alleged assailant underage too?
A few theories I have:
-This didn't happen and he's just lying for attention.
-It really did happen but for some reason, he never reported or mentioned this in the 4 years since.
-Someone accidentally brushed past him in con space and he's equating this as a sexual assault.
Lumin is currently sperging out HARD because he got banned from Furpocalypse's official Telegram chat. I presume his crime was being incredibly annoying, sperging about politics, acting like a mall cop to the mods, and tattletales on every furry who asked "Why the fuck is Lumin even allowed in here"? He has been spending literal HOURS on Bluesky writing about how everyone is Nazi, and in fact, this rant will probably continue to grow between when I started writing this post and now.

To summarize it: Lumin looks like a huge sperg whining about everyone making fun of him, randomly accusing people of being spammers, and whining that the mods didn't ban someone who linked to a video about Lumin. There's a point where either the mod stops humoring Lumin and just stops responding for months on end, and/or Lumin deleted their side of the DMs to make the mod look bad.
The funniest thing about the entire rant? When I looked up the actual rant on Bluesky directly, I saw every single post had a single like on it. The only person liking these posts is LUMIN HIMSELF
