It may have something to do with the color displaying capabilities of the hardware, as simple marketing.

The stripes do not follow the exact order that the Pride flag does.

The fags stole the rainbow from us. The rainbow is a natural phenomenon, a representation of the spectrum of light wavelengths, a fundamental of the universe we live in. It's a travesty that they appropriated it for such a disgusting, degenerate, evil thing. One can't even like looking at rainbows or own a rainbow colored item without being associated with the LGBT, which is a travesty. A man just wants to admire the double rainbows, all the way, god damnit.

Rainbows are created by refraction (and reflected refraction in the case of double rainbows). Refraction is when a multi-spectral wave passes from a media with one transmission coefficient into another with a different coefficient at a non-right angle. The different frequency components of the waveform pass through the boundary at different angles.

To put it another way: non-normal transitions cause "white" hetero-geneous waveforms to segregate into "rainbow" homo-geneous factions.

Rainbows are gay.

The Apple rainbow logo, and the modern Pride flag, are both missing Indigo, a color associated with knowledge and creativity in spiritual circles

Both the Apple rainbow logo and the modern pride flag, by leaving out Indigo, deface the natural rainbow. Which in religious circles is a symbol of God's promise to not flood the world again

The original price for the first Apple computer was $666

The logo is an apple with a bite taken out of it. (Garden of Eden, "fruit of knowledge" often symbolized as an apple, consuming it caused the fall from perfection for Mankind)

I heard that the Apple logo stems from the poisoned apple bitten by Turing because he was outed as a homo. But the original designers denied this.

I don't think it represent LGBT flag because the colours aren't as ugly.
