In Syria
With Julia and Salah
No AC

She was so scared of being phonebooked again she fled to a war torn country. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"The people here are soooooo nice goys!"

"Western media makes you think this place is super dangerous."

"I promise you I am not afraid at all"

"The government is still stabilizing"

"This to me is exciting!"

She admits her family are really worried.

That loser Yo Mama superchatted and she confirmed the keyboard is gone, no more Crazy Frog.

"Honestly, there's military dudes at every stop and they are so nice!"
This is beyond parody.

Her reply to someone mentioning the Canadian governments warning: "They have to say that because they are responsible for all Canadians well being"

Her reply to someone asking how Salah provides for her "He's got enough money. Don't worry. Nobody's business."

"It's really affordable to live here"
Gee I wonder why.

"I don't want to say lawless but....kinda"

"At least we have a traditional Western toilet." They also have a squatter toilet apparently.

Salah begins talking about how he saw missiles and she asks retarded questions like how do the missiles work.

She looks miserable.

Life imitates art

As for love-I suggested it on their first trip to Thailand. There was a scene where they were somewhere, maybe a Ferris wheel, and he stared at her softly then said, “I love you” out of the blue. It wasn’t robotic. It looked like he really meant it. I posted that observation at the time and got lots of autistic ratings, as expected, , even with the caveat that he may have had a flood of emotion for being out of Kuwait for the first time time, or for maybe it being his first time getting high. But it’s clear there is something between them.
I don't agree. This is a man who is visibly repulsed by her smell and openly mocked her to Kaibella the moment he thought he'd rid himself of her. That was after the Thailand trip, iirc. I think. Someone feel free to correct me on that.

He also is handed a script to regurgitate in chat or on camera, just like she tried to do with Nader. But unlike the true love of her life, and god it's depressing to type that, Salad is actually willing to play along. He dutifully recites his lines, however poorly, speaking in words Chins obviously wrote herself. He's even included the directions she gives him verbatim because he truly is just that retarded.

I have no doubts his declarations of love are just as scripted. They're just words to him, he doesn't care. As long as he gets her money, he'll say almost anything. Took me a while to find that video, sorry I don't know how to clip it cuz I'm a mobile fag but it didn't really seem sincere to me. More like a little kid in a school play who forgot where they are in the scene and isn't sure if that's his cue to speak. Without her explicit instructions on what to say and when, he's lost. That "I love you" sounds like a meek attempt at ad libbing.

Obviously you're free to disagree and think what you want. It's just that doing shit like cheating on her immediately after she leaves his sight, or dumping water on her with a clear look of disdain on his face, I don't see these as the actions of a man who's in love. At best, he's a trained monkey doing tricks for rewards.

I don't post here often so I apologize for drifting in because of the feature, shitting up the thread is the opposite of what I want to do. Rather I wanted to just go over some of what she said provided that others haven't already and I just didn't see it.

What caught me most off guard is the claim by her Salah that Syria has "the best Healthcare in the world by the way... W-With decent prices" and knowing that Chantal NEEDS medical care often, I decided to look in to it. For starters, pre-civil war Syria was pretty decent as far as healthcare goes in the Middle East with a universal healthcare system that while inefficient, was functional. The caveat both then and now however was that it was only available for citizens so foodie would have to pay for visits to the doctors. Post civil war to today however is a much different place. While healthcare is available, a shocking Approximation of 50% of health facilities have been destroyed or damaged, with only 59% of hospitals and 54% of primary healthcare centers fully functional as of 2020. Syria also has a HUGE issue with a lack of medical personnel in the hospitals and facilities that are open. At the start of the civil war, an approximate 70% of all trained medical staff left the country leaving difficult and sensitive issues to under-trained staff. The lack of staff created a new issue which was over crowded hospitals meaning there are at times 2-3 people to a room if not more in public and private care facilities. Of course all of this compounds in to a poor quality of care overall. Facilities are often dirty or run down. The care you do get is often fast and that's if you get it because the insurance system has been terribly mismanaged and funds go nowhere they're supposed to.

So let's say Chantal avoids being hurt in the day to day and makes it a point to not seal wrong or sprain an ankle, that leads to her other problem, mental health. Chantal always talks about mental health, talks about therapists she (allegedly) sees before "dropping" them and so on. Well Syria has a massive shortage of mental health funds leading to a lack of support overall. I know she said she's close to civilization and Damascus but that doesn't change the fact that there's only 3 trained psychiatrists in NW Syria. Well she's near civilization, near Damascus so it might be different right? Might be better? Well there's 80 Psychiatrists in the entire country with an estimated 36 Psychologists. 4 of which are confirmed to be in Idlib and serve a population of 4 million.

All of this is to say that Syria is a bad place for foodie. It's a bad place in general. She better hope she doesn't have a medical emergency or mental breakdown or anything requiring actual support because the only way she's going to get the level of care she expects is if she goes to the Canadian Embassy and pleads for medical care. That is if it wasn't closed since 2012. Salah says "Yeh there is" but he's just outright wrong with the Canadian government updating their website as recently as 5 days ago saying definitively that "The Embassy of Canada to Syria, in Damascus, has suspended its operations." and directing people to the Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. As others have said I don't know why she feels this compulsion to lie and "sell" these countries to her viewers but I believe that she isn't trying to sell it to us at all. I think she's trying to sell it to herself. If she just believes that these places are good then maybe they will be.

She came into this country with potentially broken toes... She's dead.
I have no doubt that she'll get some form of medical care. I do doubt it's quality however. Don't be surprised if there's a live stream of her going "I waited for way too long in a room with 5 other people to get my toes checked!" that is if she would admit to the place shes living to be bad.

The amount of YouTube commenters thinking she could get refugee status in Europe is next level retarded. Even if that was her plan, they'd just send her back to Canada.
I'm waiting until she develops a blood clot on a plane and causes massive delays and cancelled flights. People are hyping up that she's going to get bombed, kidnapped, or otherwise some gory happening. When in reality she's going to die in the most mundane way possible.
Cockroaches are one of the few pests that regularly die of old age, and Chantal is going to outlive us all out of spite.

What caught me most off guard is the claim by her Salah that Syria has "the best Healthcare in the world by the way... W-With decent prices" and knowing that Chantal NEEDS medical care often
Well you have to remember, Salah was a Bidoon, he was never allowed access to creamy kuwait's healthcare system

Well, this threw me into an hour long video about what Syria is like today. In case anyone is interested…

Edit: TL;DR: Syria is in a vaguely better position since the last oppressive regime fell, but it still ain’t exactly a vacation hotspot. Going there is still a stupendously dumb idea. Living there? I can’t begin to enumerate the risks, nor do I feel the need to state the obvious. The advice from, well, everywhere, is still “do not travel to Syria.”

There is a new American sabotage tactic currently being implemented in the middle east: The Fatass of Kiev. originally contracted to eat all Russian MRE supplies, they are now being utilized in Syria to topple Anti-western terrorist groups. Allegedly immune to small arms fire and calorie deficits, this fearsome new weapon has reduced the Syrian Sheep numbers to nearly half of what was documented in 2024. All attempts to behead her have failed, as the Scimitars utilized seemingly are caught by the multi layered "8 Neck" combat armor. Reports suggest that Syrian officials are currently developing defensive Walmart parking lots with no mobility scooters around warehouses and livestock farms.

Sounds like they drove there from Lebanon?
They did, there's no air travel to Syria currently. I watched a video from this Jordanian guy once when he went to Syria back in like March, Damascus seems pretty safe and you don't have to pay bribes to cross the border by land anymore but I imagine the closer you get to the coast where all the Alawites and Assadist remnants are holed up the more likely you are to get kidnapped and ransomed.
