I'm new to the game and so my thoughts probably hold no relevancy whatsoever, but I thought it would be interesting to discuss the psychology behind people's loathing for Chris-Chan. There are the obvious reasons (things he's done, things he's said), but I would submit that he would have never escalated to the point of committing those acts had he not been trolled to the edge of psychosis.

So here are my questions (everybody loves a questionnaire, right?):
  1. Do you hate Chris-Chan?
  2. Why do you hate him?
  3. Are you certain that you have the facts straight?
  4. Do you truly consider the information perpetuated on the internet to be reliable?
  5. If you could tell Chris-Chan anything at all, what would it be? (Constructive, not insults.)
  6. Do you feel you're justified in judging him, if that's something you do?
  7. Why do you take such an interest in his life?
This post is in no way meant to be inflammatory; I'm just honestly curious to know how everyone would respond to these questions. I'm interested to know how much of the disgust for Chris-Chan is borne of the mob mentality, where as an individual you might be more prone to pity or compassion than scorn.

1. Yes.
2. I'm right and he is wrong.
3. When am I not right?
4. I know more than I will ever tell.
5. Stop the lego.
6. I am great.
7. I am Edgar Cayce.
8 Here comes the lock, here comes the lock!

I'll answer my own questions too, as it seems only fair.
  1. I don't hate him--but I can't really hate anyone for more than like a day anyway.
  2. If I did hate him, it would be for the way he talks about women and homosexuals, not necessarily for anything he said or did in the past.
  3. I don't think that's even a real possibility...the internet is a lot like the Bible--people mostly write history to suit their own opinions.
  4. Oops, I guess this question was redundant and therefore annoying.
  5. If I thought it would make a difference, I'd suggest he get a haircut and wear clothes that are better suited to his body--and then I'd give him a list of certain books to read.
  6. I can't judge him...we've all had (or will have) times in our lives when we make bad decisions that we'll regret and become kind of a trainwreck for a while...but most of us are lucky enough not to have those times publicly immortalised on the internet to remind us every day.
  7. His situation is incredibly unique, and he seems like a really legitimately lonely guy who only has a few real people in his life he can turn to for emotional support.

1. No. I just point and laugh at him or at least just annoyed by him.
2. -
3. Probably.
4. Yes as long as it's sourced.
5. I would probably ask him why he didn't get a PS4 or when he could continue Sonichu. :3
6. Probably.
7. He's unintentionally entertaining. From his TAKE THAT PAGE DOWN NOW! video (still my favourite video today) to his rage here about how the answer is the FUCKING PITTSBURG PIRATES!!!, Chris never ceases to entertain me.

Reactions: Very Honest Content
1. I don't hate him - I hate the awful things he does and recognise he's an awful person, but I don't hate him.
2. See above.
3. The documentation on the CWCki about him is quite thorough.
4. Considering the sheer depth and detail of all the information available on him, I would say that the CWCki is fairly accurate.
5. I wouldn't bother telling him anything because it wouldn't stick. The universe will collapse in on itself before Chris would actually consider any advice.
6. Yes. He's had numerous chances to improve himself as a human being and had countless people try to help him, but all he's done is dig his hole even deeper and blame other people for it.
7. Christian's warped psyche is fascinating. What keeps me watching him is to see just how deep the rabbit hole will go.

Just going to say though, the tone of these questions... :anna:
