Afaik he's dabbled in a bunch of side projects, biggest one being his E-sports org and a company that helps other youtubers get sponsor deals and such. Dude's actually been pretty smart as far as investing his money goes for a youtuber, combined with how cheap his videos are to make and the amount of views he gets I doubt he'd ever be hurting for money unless he has some sort of addiction.
That's pretty much how I see it. There's a reason the guy is on good terms with people like Hasan and Kaya at the same time - he's not politically driven and doesn't want to be, but internet drama has been becoming more and more political even in cases it shouldn't be which has lead to people that don't outwardly lean to one side or the other getting cannibalized by both.
