The note that @The Last Stand posted claimed to be from someone named "Airsoft Al", and it was from what seemed to be an organization called "Sneed", as it is written directly at the end of the note as "-Sneed", indicating that it's from an organization called "Sneed". The Sneed house is apparently a dorm at the Texas Tech University, the school that Bella attends.

@DawnDusk made it clear that the real culprit was Chase Lopez, another gun enthusiast that holds some sort of obsessive grudge against Alex. This can be seen on page 15.
