This guy, dukeofmadnessmotors spergs a lot in these kinds of echo chamber reddits, I find his logic interesting - if SPD refuse to police in areas, then they are double plus ungood. If they DO police in those areas, they are free to be set upon and attacked and shouldn't go to CHOP/CHAZ, but should keep policing even though they are subject to violence.

So in another reddit there was this post :
His response is typical of these idiots and based on emotional appeal.
"Well wind up with a small police force, you guise, where emotional outbursts aren't tolerated and it will be awesome."
When that isn't the case. He's refusing - like all these people do, purposefully - to acknowledge that criminals have gotten more violent in the last 20 years - you not only have a flood of high powered illegal weapons flooding in, but thanks to democratic idiocy, you have a flood of actual gang members coming up through Mexico.
You also have many more drugs on the street - like Ice etc - that provoke violent behaviour in those who take it.
They're only thinking of policing in terms of how it effects
them on a visceral level. They aren't thinking about the actual harm it will do to the very poor communities.
This is privilege manifested.
They believe that if asked nicely, people will be good and kind. Or if given everything, people won't steal, or murder.
If we all just "unplan donation" our belongings, then all will be right. Or if we just allowed beatings/murders of white people to take place, then we are doing restorative justice.
Restorative justice in itself is autistic and based on philosophical concepts of harm vs justice. But then again, these people believe morals are a western invention and thus oppressive, when I'm pretty sure if you stole something in Ancient Africa, they would have not been like "cool just unplanned donating stuff".
Regardless, this idiot doesn't realise that defunding police, leaving them in tact and forcing them to become smaller won't reduce problems. It will escalate them. But then again, I have a feeling this guy would be A-OK if Tyrone tried to shake him down by stretching his asshole out.
Of course there needs to be police reform, protection FOR the police, MORE police, MORE training, but his utopia with less police will never happen, because it will not be a utopia. Like all whiny faggots, hell just up and leave when the going gets hot and leave the poor to stew in the pot that idiocy and weakness created.
He won't LIVE in Chaz, of course. He'll just look at it like it's a zoo. Typical.
