I'm gonna clench my teeth and say Trump was right on not sending the NG or Army in. As much as I would've loved the 7th Infantry to roll in, watching this shit self-destruct was a good advert for him and it gave KF a 158+ page thread to mostly laugh at these brave revolutionaries who fought the system*.
But will Seattle PD be enough to kick everyone out and clean it up, or will there have to be big guns brought in is what I wonder.
*because the system didn't actually take any measures against them

She's such a spitefilled lunatic that she thinks police only respond to jogger related crime.
Remember last year when the crane fell and killed several people, in your city, Jenny? Police ran into that, didn't ask about race, didn't look to save only "white" victims. They risked their lives to save people. Period.
What about when that chopper crashed? Jet fuel everywhere. They went in and saved people.
Imagine being so angry at the Orange Man Bad, that you'd prefer people to die, quietly, than to admit you were wrong.

Because they think they're actually being a revolutionary or something instead of just fucking up normal peoples lives. But it's worse than that.
Imagine there's a propaganda filled loser whose accomplished nothing in their life, other than getting an art degree or liberal arts major. Your mind is filled with self hatred and the shitty opinions and poorly explained/cherrypicked biased facts of your professors and history curriculum. Worse still, this strawman/imaginary person has a grandparent or family member who marched with King, or lived in a hippie commune back then. This person then says "Why can't I be a hero?" So this shit just tickles that part of the brain that says "Finally I can be all I want to!"
Of course no one tells this person that the protests today are vastly different from the causes of the '60s, the culture of those times, and that most of the country silently fucking despised them. Don't forget that Nixon won Hard both elections he was running and he was as anti-hippie and anti-left as they came. So they go to protests that are allowed to continue thanks to shitty cops and shitty city councils, supported by corporations silently fucking them and the communities they claim to be supporting (while they burn down small business that was preventing the evil corporation that was evil until they made a Twitter post and donated the executive version of pocket change to a sketchy organization from taking complete control over an area) as they "Show solidarity™". It's even worse than the Civil Rights protests of the '60s, because they at least had opposition.
In summary: These are the Participation Trophy versions of protests. They aren't facing resistance, they are allowed to do their dumb shit, and at the end of the day, the only thing they accomplished was make things worse instead of bringing progress.

Since CHAZ isn't looking long for this world, I was curious about how the other autonomous zones people had tried to set up in other cities fared. I remember hearing about one in Nashville about a week ago and another one somewhere else that got shut down rather quick. Did those go anywhere, or is CHAZ the last stand of ANTIFA's AnComistan?

They tried setting one up in Portland too, but since they decided to do it literally on Mayor Wheeler's doorstep he noped the fuck out instantly and Portland Police broke it up.
