Same reason why most of western media/politics has been cowed into cringing submission these past few weeks.

Those in charge are utterly dependent upon PR/marketing people to tell them what the public "really" thinks, and its in the interests of PR and Marketing people to spin a tiny fringe of obsessively offended retards and grifters as representing the vast majority of society who need to be pandered to lest they mass boycott any business who defies them into bankruptcy and lynch the CEOs in the streets, since keeping their employers in a perpetual state of terror at triggering the wrath of the mob makes sure they can continue to remain on the payroll with as many perks and payrises as they desire.

Once enough businesses and politicians bow before this supposed threat to their careers and lives, it starts a snowball effect with countless more businesses jumping on this bandwagon in terror to avoid the supposedly dire consequences of not kissing the ring, all pushed on by more PR and marketing types looking to justify their existence in the next review

What is interesting about this video is that Twitter, Facebook and even Reddit, which later became a vehicle for reactionary elements, are listed as the prime means of social media organizations of the Occupiers. That would be unthinkable today.


Its kinda nice and almost wistful though to watch these old videos and remember a time where people from different walks of life could stand next to each other and have a civil conversation about the state of America. Unlike BLM now which has become purely a black supremacy movement.


Doing a bit of "Where are they now" research online I discovered that Jewish-Mexican Occupier Jeremy Roth Kushel only went deeper down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. It is interesting to do a where are they now of all these people to see where they ended up 6 years later.

Hearing them chant "This is what Democracy looks like" side-by-side in the second(?) video is such a contrast to the "kneel before me" riotfest that's happening this go-round. I don't know that either are going to make a lick of difference in the long run but at least the LA videos made me feel good about the people trying to make change. The only video from the current protest/riot/supremecyfest I enjoyed is the one where the guy runs smack into the window trying to escape with his loot.

Did these protestors blow their loads early? Why do it now instead of September? They were going to do it anyway but why now? These riots have proved my dad right that the hippies of the late 60s never went away. Another question why did the left chose the Pacific Northwest in the late 60s to be their areas of influence along with San Francisco?

That's the guy from the "first community policing" post I made a few pages back. I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him, turns out I had been watching his stream yesterday.

The tweet you linked references when Raz's girl put the phone in her pocket, that's the 55 minute long video I added to my post. Looks like @Icasaracht posted the video from the tagger's perspective.

I swear, between this and asking the shop owner for $500 (if we can confirm that), these guys are doing a speedrun of the inevitable slide into tyranny. You love to see it :story:

I'll admit that it was retweeted by Andy Ngo for all it's worth. May be bullshit, but if the warlord thing is also true, then it fits with the reality that this gay commune has descended into Michoacan style cartel rule.
