This was mentioned in the thread but these people also see the world like a video game or TV show. In Pokemon for example you can grow berries next to a city if you plant them in a specific spot so that must be how real life works too.

Dox was an exageration, there just is a woman working the phone pointing at her face for a second that I assume is his wife, which is still there.
