If that needs to happen eventually, let the police/SWAT take care of it, instead of sending the freaking Army in to do what's basically a cop job. That "John Brown Gun Club" can either earn their name or slink off and be discredited, and I'd bet on the latter. Trump needs to keep from pissing off his base; he doesn't need to spend a decade in federal courts arguing about the Insurrection Act.

After St John's, I don't think anyone questions Trump's view on authority; asked, answered, demonstrated. They do question the Seattle local government, with good reason. Leaving politics and lulz aside, this is a legitimate question that should be answered locally, to keep the lines of responsibility crystal clear without involving the feds. Arguably the state of Washington shouldn't get involved either, but if they do it needs to be seen as a local failing first.

While I'd love to see commie skulls cracked too, let's establish a few things.

One of the worst things the enemy can possibly get sometimes is exactly what they OPENLY want. In this case, they openly wanted to start riots and destroy shit across the US, but covertly it was a political game of chicken to make Trump the bad guy by playing up to the typical government stormtrooper oppressor trope with Trump as the highest profile guy to blame.

The covert goal was denied. The overt goal was allowed, but only because it was mostly concentrated in places that were Democrat strongholds where Trump couldn't force the issue without playing into the hands of those goading him into doing that.

Now, the calculus has changed. The Democrats let their own cities burn for nothing. Trump didn't take the bait, they just put themselves in an economic hole because businesses are now noping out of the areas they let rioters break and steal things with abandon, and both publicly and privately the ordinary people caught in the crossfire are beginning to realize they were pawns of people using them as part of power play to secure votes, votes they wanted bought using riots and looters as the proxy, with the ordinary people who wanted no part of it caught in the middle, most of those people being those who were solid blue votes.

The rage of the staged riots and the BS that triggered this will go away, it was obviously incited and staged by those making a political power play through their street proxies, but the damage they did to themselves for political profit will cost them down the line.

No clue if this has been mentioned yet but the maker of the map is PartyPrat. I made a thread on them a while back (which I mainly made to contain discussion, but it devolved into the usual "is X a cow" tier farm fights as with any e-celeb and looking back wasn't the best idea for a thread). The tl;dr is that he/she is a popufur e-celeb who became super famous for holding furcon rave parties that oftentimes ended up with hotel security being called mixed with con scene popularity from these parties.

There's a good reason the whole "we just want to watch the world burn" mindset popped up among the right online. They know if they did anything they'd be arrested and this was cemented with the pawn shop owner arrest. Trump and blue cities watching everything burn has helped fuel gun sales and disdain towards the left online and it's becoming more and more open.

Within a day they were taken over by a local soundcloud rapper because he has the biggest gun. Organizers are currently focusing on movie nights and infighting over any kind of coherent platform. The stated demands are the kind of lulzy shit that killed OWS back in the day. We haven't seen it even last a full week and it's an embarrassment to the rest of the nation that'll inspire some backlash even in a city this utterly cucked.

Anyone ITT freaking out over this, clutching pearls and screeching about how Trump needs to send in the army now, is either terminally autistic or a fed. Maybe if they actually set the precinct SPD abandoned on fire for real you'd have a point.

The thing with the PNW and West Coast furry scene is that they overlap hard with left wing political movements. There were furries showing up in costume to Bernie rallies to the point where there was a news article about how furries are the "secret weapon" of the progressive left. I also know that Bernie material was being handed out at furcons in the beginning of 2020 before he burned out and the WuFlu canceled cons.

That "American Redoubt" community overlaps heavily with white separatism (they say they're not but come on, who else is moving to a conservative christian community in Idaho) and they seem to have their shit together too. Lots of ex-military types, farmers, that sort of thing.
