Am I getting this right? They didn't even fuck up self-policing at the right people?

In Germany we speak the two totally different to avoid any missunderstanding.

At 0: 45 you hear screaming tires and at around 1:00 the jeep crashes and gunshots start.
I marked the place where the jeep crashes. On the pic the crash already occurred.

Rumor is that there was a shootout before with another group. That's why the crazy woman yells to shoot any suv that comes near.
14 and 16-year old kids stole a jeep and decided to do some joyriding at CHAZ/CHOP, got mixed up for being the wrong guys, were even unarmed and got
shot from different sides. The 16 year old driver got executed with a bullet in the head, 14 year old also was attacked with an axe (edit) ice axe.
CHAZ/CHOP destroyed/tampered evidence to hide this. It's not confirmed yet.
And what did the other SUV do that they decided to shoot at any other SUV?

Inventing that was a desperation move because while they do have oil, they didn't have nearly enough for their military needs, much less their civilian needs. It's a good, semi-clean method of getting this from coal and other sources. On the bad side, it isn't economically efficient currently, either because we haven't improved the process enough or because actual oil remains too cheap. We'll certainly get into this and other processes if we run out of oil while still having enormous coal reserves, by "we" I mean the U.S. particularly because we have enormous coal reserves.

Yeah, I miss the halcyon days of TWO FUCKING WEEKS AGO when it was just AnCom LARPers failing to grow non-edible plants for food. There's been a bit too much murder as of late for my taste.

Although, it is interesting seeing them blame the violence on groups that are provably uninvolved.

The Fischer-Tropsch process was invented with the ulterior motive to underun a possible total blockade again in a future war. It wasn't economically efficient back then either, but in a dictatorship that is surley the least they'll think about. Worth mentioning is that the Fischer-Tropsch process was able to produce 9% of Germanys total amount of war fuel and 25% of the automobile fuel back then. The problem was never the production of fuel what broke Germanys back on that front was that we were not able to get the shit to the frontlines or the Luftwaffe anymore when the USAAF/RAF gained air superiority. When the USAAF/RAF started concentrating on the logistic chain the situation became so bad that even potatoes and other veggies had to be rationed by the end of 1943.
