"Walker said the two teens had carjacked and beat up the owner of the white Jeep Cherokee just hours before the fatal shooting. ‘They held someone up at knifepoint to carjack the Jeep,' she said.
The teens were joy riding around doing ‘stupid s**t’ but then CHOP security started to follow them, as well as other vehicles, Walker claimed."
It also explains why the keys were on the jeep.

Given that it has come out that they carjacked a guy (explaining why there was a keyfob at least), this has gone from a tragedy to a fucking farce. Somebody who either used force, or the threat of force to steal and then ends up gunned down by people who otherwise would've celebrated them.

The only thing that would've made it better was if one of the kids shot had a gun and shot back when they surrounded the car, spooking at the security people into shooting randomly and leaving the scene like a parody of a Shakespearean death scene.

I feel highly sympathetic towards the teen and his family - because he, at 16 is going to be a fucking spastic and he was just 16, that's a short amount of time on earth. But CHAZ was started by grown adults. It was adults in CHAZ, who should have known better, who murdered this kid. I thought their plan was "de-escalation"? I mean we all know that's a crock of shit and they just want to abolish the police so they can go rob whitey and live in lawlessness, but seriously... they couldn't even PRETEND for even a full month. These are ADULTS and they're this retarded.

I fucking love that these people think slavery is their problem or systemic racism... the problem is their toxic, lousy, useless thug culture.
It just cements that White people aren't the problem. Capitalism and Racism aren't the problem. The problem is Black Culture pushed heavily by the left and the lack of accountability and the destruction of family and community, in society, in general.

Here are the rules that were broken in this incident that protesters have asked police to follow:

  1. Black Lives Matter - They shot 2 black kids, killed 1
  2. Demilitarize - LARPing as soldiers wearing camo, plate carriers and carrying AR-15's

  4. Warning before shooting - Immediately started shooting

Statements from the Seattle City Council was what you'd expect, blaming capitalism for violence and the Council president saying that the shooting was not the fault of CHOP, and blamed national gun violence instead.

Even a bland and meaningless positioning statment about "We're working with leaders to get this under control in a mutually beneficial way" would've looked better.

Instead, to own Drumpf (tm), she just couldn't help but stridently and arrogantly say "Not only is this little street festival not a problem, but I wholeheartedly endorse it and I dare the President to show his true colors by stopping what's just another Summer of Love"

And then the bodies started stacking up.

TDS and the cult-like behavior it induces from the True Believers in fully-automated luxury space progressivism means you can't ever commit less than 200% to your ideals.

You can't just let opponents lose, you have to ratfuck them into the ground and go on record that you're doing it, otherwise your purity will be called into question.

On one hand, I feel bad for her, living inside the big, blue, echo box means an entire civic government, from Chief Executive down to dog catcher, collectively, have NO IDEA how to govern effectively and grade performance on irrelevant "feel good" politics that do more harm in practice than good, despite arguably noble motives. I think a lot of these people have been promoted well beyond their competence level due to political purity and how progressive they look in the roles and are in denial (and allowed to be in denial by continuing blind support) that what they FEEL doesn't translate to results at street-level. They don't GET that leadership means you have to spank some of your own people even when you like them, and believe in ruinous PC policy that there are no bad actors on your side, just misunderstood victims and that promising to give kids ice cream and a trophy if they just stop tantruming is the way to go.

She was set up for failure by being "taught" how to lead by a system that fundamentally misunderstands it's own purpose (a leader defers to the most powerless) and denies human nature and basic psychology when this is pointed out. (deescalation is the solution, remove all laws and everyone will "naturally" get along!) .

Nonetheless, a reckoning is due when you fuck up that bad.

It's not 100% the coach's fault if a team with no talent on the roster goes 1 - 15 for the season, but, he's still gonna get fired, especially if he keeps talking trash about the good teams and crowing about his constant "moral victories" won despite nothing on-field going right.

Correction: Scott Adams said "She played it perfectly." Not "won" I misunderstood him. The argument seems to be that there was no "peaceful solution" after the establishment of the CHAZ, just ways to minimize the damage. His persuasion filter indicates that she convinced a number of communists that taking over city blocks is not a successful strategy.

I maintain that her taunting Trump was a mistake though.
