It's a sick experiment for the people in the echo chamber of nihilists who think this "revolting against my own first world privilege" shit works or means something. The genuinely believe they are winning while they just give each other a virtual asspat-circle jerk.

All they're doing is causing damage. The only "good" things they've achieved are pretty looking photo ops for social media.

They haven't helped anyone. Their cause is hypocritical. Their charity is a scam: BLM has been donated ONE BILLION dollars, and could buy the freedom of every single modern day slave/trafficking victim on the planet... but they choose not to. I think it's optimistic to think antifa will be hated 'correctly', the mainstream and antifa/blm supporters are already doing their best to slowly spin it as a white supremacist thing. When people are duped and then double down on stuff like the OK prank, and shamelessly say nothing is happening and that cities get burned and looted is just racist propaganda, I have no doubt they'll easily side with whatever they want to hear. They can still blame antifa, they'll just label them something politically convenient so it's kosher.

Here's the story they posted about Car Tender, emphasis mine, and important when compared to reality:
Car Tender employee Mason McDermott along with owners John McDermott have been on the news today admitting to snitching on protesters in Seattle's Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ). Specifically, they admit catching a protester inside the auto shop and calling the police even though the protester tried to run away before being kidnapped by Mason McDermott and leaving peacefully once McDermott let him go. The McDermott's have since been all over the airways complaining about the police not responding to their calls. They should keep their mouths shut. Such talk could be cited by the police as an excuse to attack demonstrators should they decide to start operating in that area again. Car Tender obviously has sufficient security to handle their own problems. They should just let security handle it rather than ratting people out.

John McDermott said that he and his son made over a dozen 911 calls despite being able to detain the protester on their own. Mason McDermott admitted that the protester tried to run away when they caught him, but that he escalated the situation by chasing him down and assaulting him. The McDermotts then effectively kidnapped the protester by holding him against his will before letting him go once they realized that the cops do not operate in the CHAZ anymore. That protester has probably learned his lesson and won't go back there. Ruining his life by turning him in to the cops is not necessary.

Today fellow owner Russell Kimbell has been on the news making statements in support of the McDermotts.

Funny how they don't mention WHY the protester was chased down and detained, I'm sorry "kidnapped".
Capitol Hill auto shop, Car Tender, says it was broken into overnight by protesters in the “CHOP” or “CHAZ” area Sunday night. A suspect tried to start a fire and stole cash, as well as car keys.

The business owner, John McDermott, says he and his son managed to detain the suspect – but despite more than a dozen 911 calls, police and fire never showed up.

McDermott said he got a call Sunday after the suspect smashed a window and got inside his business.

“Broke into the building, set fire to the front counter,” McDermott said.

He and his son said the suspect put hand sanitizer all over a cassette tape, pulled out the film, and put hand sanitizer all over it as well as the counter – then lit it all on fire.

So, zero mention of the fact that the "protester" broke in, stole shit, broke shit, and ultimately set a fire. Absolutely none at all.

While the local news won't say it, I will: because "the suspect" was destroying evidence of something on that tape for someone else, or himself. I'll go even further and say this rioter was intentionally trying to burn the business down, his actions in spreading the accelerant all over the counter as well as the primary target for destruction indicates intent to do significant damage outside the obvious target.

And the claim the business operators "escalated" the situation in any way by attempting to detain and maintain the detention of a man who attempted to burn down their business is a flat out lie clearly intended to paint the business owners as worthy of retribution by creating a false narrative of business owners randomly chasing down people "who did nothing" and detaining them for no reason.

Almost like this lying pile of commie crap copblaster will lie in ways that make the MSM blush to cover for his criminal friends, and yet will gladly play the victim and cry crocodile tears when they get labeled as the source of the harassment the garage owners are now facing due to a logical leap a child could make given the barely concealed threat that "They should keep their mouths shut." and that copblaster wrote their article in a way so blatantly defiant of reality that even NYT could see the forest for the trees.

Nobody lied about you copblaster, they didn't even misrepresent you. They quoted you exactly, and anyone with a half functioning brain knows how harassers got the phone number. You just lied to paint the target on Garage owner's backs and your buddies knew what to do.

And for some reason your lying ass got so bent out of shape by this that you came here of all places to post about it. :story:

Oh and the articles in question are reproduced in sufficient part to convey necessary information required for the criticism of calling copblaster a lying piece of commie shit and covered by fair use.
