If I ever went to an American Thanksgiving dinner, I think I'd want either plain old apple pie or strawberry rhubarb pie.

Rhubarb is a weird one for me. There is probably nothing more American the eating a pie from a literal weed. But then there is nothing more Swedish then eating partially rotten fermented fish too. Definitely an acquired taste. Mixing it with berries is a must, otherwise that stringy texture and bitter aftertaste is...eh....
