Chris and alcohol

This is a topic that has never been particularly clear to me and I wonder if someone can help clear it up because there is a lot of speculation surrounding Chris and alcohol. We know since Chris' Big Night Out that he does drink alcohol, but do we know to what extent he drinks? The Cwcki page on Chris and alcohol speculates on Chris' alcoholism but I wondered if anybody with firmer information could shed some light on his drinking habits. On the one hand Barb's grandfather was an alcoholic and we all know how good Chris is at impulse control, but on the other hand a lot of people tend to exaggerate Chris' behaviours.

I thought we agreed that Chris isn't an alcoholic because he doesn't drink enough and he's not dependent on booze. He says he's a social drinker but he has no friends to socially drink with so he just drinks alone and plays vidya

that is totally it. he's just weird enough that a normal patron would look at him and maybe laugh to them self, but also he's invisible enough thanks to his vidya addiction to not make contact with people. i want to know if he tips.

I don't think Chris has had alcohol in a while. It doesn't seem like he get's more'n a few minutes alone at McDonald's most of the time, never mind enough free time to go to a bar. Maybe there's enough time when Barb personally goes to Goodwill, but that would require his leaving the McDonald's she told him to stay at. On foot.

Do you tip at McDonald's??? Honestly never known anybody to tip at fast food places.

I tip everywhere, even fast food places, but then I'm a nuisance customer that has to modify every order. At most fast food places, it's actively discouraged by management, so you have to be sneaky about it. I know most of the staff at the restaurants I frequent, so I know when to slip them an extra few bucks. It's not common, but I know some other foodies that do it as well (it helps ensure we get special treatment, and less spit in our food).

Judging from what we know about Christian's diet, I don't think he'd find most alcoholic drinks to be palatable. If there was something he liked, the alcohol is probably entirely masked by syrup or juice... At that point, Chris can save a few C-Quarters just getting a virgin (with rage) drink, or a soda. I think he just got the rare alcoholic drink to look like a grownup, and spend most of the time struggling to drink it sip by sip.

These days, I don't think his leash is long enough to frequent places like bars.

Honestly never occurred to me to tip at fast food places. If I pay in cash I'll put change in the "Donate here for troops/kids/whatever" thingie but that's about it. Restaurants I do but really, seems unfair when you think about it.

Chris isn't dependent on alcohol. He says he socially drinks, but like someone else said, he has no friends to drink with so it's pretty much a lie.
He says he had a "Bud" before. Probably because it's heavily advertised and tastes like pisswater.
He's been seen drinking colorful fruity drinks, probably because he doesn't like the strong stuff.
He had trouble swallowing Kahlua, which is almost like candy, as well as grimacing when drinking a Long Island Iced Tea.
I doubt Chris likes the taste of booze, considering his disgusted faces when drinking it, and just drank it those few times to look like a big boy.
If anything I can see him only liking fruity, sugary light things like Smirnoff Ices, which are basically candy in liquid form, and fruity mixed drinks at Applebee's.
He wouldn't know a good, strong drink or beer if it hit him in the face.
Plus alcohol gets expensive and I doubt he'd like to spend much money on it anyways.


Oh, and on the other topic, I worked at a McD's as a summer job for 3 years and we weren't allowed to take tips. I was offered one for being kind and helpful once but I couldn't take it. My manager said it would be best for him to put it in the Ronald McDonald House donation box instead.

He did blame one of his run-ins with Mike Snyder on being "drunk" on one "bottle of Bud." I find it hard to believe a heavy guy like Chris could get buzzed off a weak beer like Bud is, but maybe Chris is a lightweight due to not drinking much, despite his size. I guess I can believe that. But other than that, I think Chris was exaggerating and trying to find a bit of an excuse for acting out at Snyder.

I worked at a Burger Place for 6 months and I was tipped once. A middle-eastern man and his male friend visited and gave me three dollars at the counter. I kept one, gave one to prep, and gave one to the guy on grill. They were probably confused to our tipping customs and didn't know you were only supposed to tip at sit-down restaurants with assigned waiters.

But yeah, Chris will get bawdles of bud at various places sometimes. I kinda wonder how this fits into his Barb leash. They could go out together to fancy (by Chris' standards) restaurants, maybe? Or maybe he could come up with an excuse to go out for a few hours? I don't know.

But either way, Chris occasionally will find opportunities to get alcohol, probably with a few months between each opportunity. Whoever talked about Chris being a pussy as far as alcohol goes is right, he'll usually get pretty weak, light beer or sugary drinks, things like that.

Chris probably hasn't had enough experience with alcohol to see why he'd like it consistently, so it's probably just an opportunity to sit around and wait for a pretty girl to pick him up, while playing his video games.

I think that someone with Chris' metabolism would have to try REALLY hard to get truly drunk on bud lite. He would probably have a diabetic episode before he got truly drunk.

I really doubt she's okay with her baby boy drinking grandpa's cough medicine. He probably only gets the chance once in a while, maybe if he tells his meemaw he's going to McDees but goes to a bar instead.

He probably drinks for the same reason he got a bunch of Apple crap - he thinks it's the cool "trend" he's supposed to follow if he wants to stay up and up.

I think that he drinks sugary drinks or milk-based (see Lars' Aka-chaka coffee). I doubt that Chris' tastes would be refined enough to handle a good aged bourbon or whisky.
