Well, Anna used to live in Virginia, she moved to Utah in (I think) her early college years. At least, that's the timetable that makes sense to me.

If you move somewhere during college, you tend to do it for yourself, not out of obligation to your parents or church. I get the impression part of Anna likes being in Mormon City, USA. The Mormons I know think Utah is this awesome place... Anna may like it just because it gives other Mormons a reason to envy her.

All speculation... but my point being that I really don't think Anna is in Utah against her will.

This does bring me back to my point that Anna probably has some serious mental issues at hand. If shes leaving her own fucking room less than Chris leaves his house shes probably suffering from some sort of depression at best. That possibly could account for her lack of empathy toward Chris' situation.

Anna lives in another state, right? That would mean the two haven't actually seen each other in-person in years. I find it funny that Chris has started stating he wants no online only relationships but makes an exception for Anna.

Nah, it's not that Chris doesn't not want online only relationships, he doesn't want to make new friendships online. He's got lots of friends that he only interacts with online.

If anything the trolls are more friends than she is. Not to mention they gave him a purpose so to speak. He was "battling the evil trolls". Communicating with people. He had purpose. I don't think he realized it or realizes it but I personally think that how "exciting" things where may have helped with his . Today, he has nothing to look forward to. No one to confront and try to defeat.

Eh, the trolls weren't Chris' friends. The trolls really made Chris unhappy. Chris' purpose was the same back then as it was now: to get a girlfriend. Everything else were just minor goals to Chris. He was only more happy back then because he potentially had a girlfriend. Fighting trolls wasn't boosting his mood.

I think Anna and Chris are similar to her, in a way. Anna will get up in arms about someone saying "faggot" because she kind of identifies as LGBT (sort of) but when it suits her she'll throw the word out like it's nothing.

Actually, I remember now that Chris said "bitch" and she got offended at that. But yeah, same result.

Anna lives in Orem, which is outside Provo; the next big town outside of Salt Lake. From the info we have from last November, she's a shut-in like OPL.

Physically she's OK. Not great, but OK. However she's not mentally stable. I told you all about the time I met her in the hospital, right?

I'm new, haven't heard. What happened? How did that come about?

Short version: I was hospitalized because of my bipolar disorder. While in therapy I met Anna and even told her I recognized her. At the time she was obsessed with Call of Duty and wasn't leaving the house for weeks at a time and seemed to be having social anxiety problems.

Yeah, nah, no one's going to notice or give a shit about Chris' spergings. They don't happen frequently enough and the people involved aren't experienced enough with Chris to know that they're distinctive.
