Chris has accused trolls and Michael Snyder and a girl he hasn't talked to in ages for all of his woes. He blames them for those videos he made.

BULLSHIT!!

Except for that one incident where Bluespike was blackmailing Chris to hump his PStriple and shove chunks of Sonichu medallion up his poop-chute, every video and comment Chris has made was done completely of his own free will. He did them because he was wanting some sweet sweet China, but no one was putting a gun to his head.

The blackface! The Crushing his console! Even the :julay: ! It was all Chris doing it out of his own free will. All people did at most was suggest some things for him to do, but it was totally up to him to decide whether to accept it.

So when Chris blames other people for his troubles and for tricking him into making embarrassing videos, oh give me a break! No amount of CWC mental gymnastics is going to excuse the fact that Chris did them all willingly.

he's barb's son. she taught him well.

While admitting responsibility for his actions would allow Chris to change his life, it would also give him the burden of having to put forth the effort to do it. So naturally, this will never happen.

*Sigh... It was tha-that slanderous JEW Michael Snyder, who, together with the trolls and cyber bullies, p-paid the judge to give me, ME, an unf-unfa unfair verdict and whatnot. Hmmm Yeah, *Siiiiiiiiiiigh... Have a goo-good d-d-day.

I had an ex like this. He always blamed others for whatever issues he had in his life, and as a result lost several girlfriends, myself included. He seemed nice at first, which was why I became his girlfriend, but over time I noticed this aspect of his behavior, he always blamed others for shit in his life, and that was one of the reasons I broke up with him. I tracked down the ex he had before me, and she had the same issue with him that I had. Chris just has a far extreme form of blame avoidance than my ex, but it's hard for me to not notice the similarities.

He was also blackmailed into making a video saying he was gay.

One way or another, almost all videos he made have been the results of either blackmail, pressure or manipulation of a severely autistic individual. While blaming things on Megan, Snyder and other people he knows IRL is uncalled for, it is a logical result of his paranoia. A paranoia which his parents fed and stimulated. The things he blames on the trolls, he has every right to blame on them.

It's a fairly standard human coping measure, but in true cwc-style Chris turns it up to 11. The trolling has provided him with a prefabricated excuse for why he still has the same shitty life he had 10 years ago. They've ruined Sonichu (his 100% guaranteed ticket to success) And they've made him unable to acquire his sweetheart (his 100% guaranteed ticket to moving out)

I've often wondered where Chris' life would be if he was never discovered by the online community. Would he still be blissfully unaware and still chugging away drawing Sonichu? Or would he simply have invented other reasons for his stagnant life ?

One thing's for sure, he'd still have been banned from the Gameplace, that one was all his own doing.

You GUYS! If he could only Lose his Accursed V-Card then he would no longer be a Virgin with Rage and all those Bad Aspects of his Autism will go away...oh, wait...

It's because no one besides Mommy Dearest is able to understand his speshulness. All those ]:(P and JERKS are just jealous because they aren't as speshul as Chris Chan is. :pickle:

*yawn*

I wouldn't have done so if my ex had not reacted so violently and jerkishly to my breaking up with him. He even went so far as to threaten to kill my cat, send me spam (he copied and pasted the spam, which included disgusting threats like 200 times over several occasions) and badmouth me to our mutual friends (who saw through his behavior and ended up breaking off their own friendships with him) so I had to wonder if he did this to other exes, and he had bitched enough about his ex that I had enough information to locate her. If he had acted maturely at the breakup, I would have just walked away and been done with it.

Kinda random but this reminded me of a song by The Good Life, called Inmates. There's a verse that goes like this:

When you said you'd hurt me, did you think you hurt me?
Are you really that cocky? Oh, what a heartbreaker!
Well, I've got my armor, yeah, I've been through some battles before
And I met your old girlfriend, she said, "Baby, don't bother"
She told me you told her you'd hurt her
Funny, how familiar
So how much of this relationship was rehearsed?

Tim Kasher wrote this whole album about his divorce. It's 12 tracks long, and each track it's about a month of the year they broke up. Man, I love that album.

But I digress. Yes, Chris blames all his problems on his imaginary enemies. But I'll give him some credit (as I usually do), since a) he's autistic b) he never had any real parenting or anything to help him cope with his autism c) his life pretty much sucks, so what's the point?

Accepting responsibility is a skill which takes a certain level of self-awareness, emotional maturity, behavioral stability, and ethical understanding to develop. Accordingly, seeing as how Chris really hasn't had the experience or training necessary to develop much of the first three, and has what is (at best) a marginal understanding of the fourth, he is simply not able to see why he's ever in the wrong. Really, if you were as behaviorally\emotionally reactive (sensitive?) as Chris, and your whole understanding of ethics boils down to 'it's wrong to do things that hurt others', then doesn't it make sense that everyone else is in the wrong for 'hurting' you, regardless of whether or not they actually caused a tangible loss (or even actually acted on you)? Moreover, since such a worldview would invariably make you a victim, isn't it fair that you should be able to get away with more than others (including those you hurt, since they can't possibly be suffering as much as you)? It's weird to more personally learned people, sure, but it's not really that much different than trying to solve an equation after being given the wrong formula

This, but it's more like not having completely read the formula. Look at how he raged at Adam Stackhouse and the two other winners of the PaRappa contest for technically having other people visible on camera. That wasn't actually a broken rule, though, because none of those other people did any rapping. It would have been a broken rule if Adam Stackhouse's little sister had contributed a verse or two instead of just being in shot. Same deal for the "no music" rule -- it didn't rule out beatboxing, but Chris thought it did, or at least should have.

And as usual, if you look up the CWCki article about the whole mess, you'll see him using his autism to garner sympathy and somehow present himself as more in the right than any other person could possibly be. Alas, no theory of mind...

I wonder where it fits in that he accused Stackhouse of cheating, but he tried to vote-bomb the website with bots, which was clearly cheating.
