So where is he sleeping nowadays? Did he just switch rooms or is it like uninhabitable now?

Just taking a guess, but probably where ever Bob was living was the least cluttered room in the house so Chris may have moved there (despite possible insect infestation). Or he may just cuddle up with Barb now that he's the "man of the house".

...Actually, those are really the only two options that present themselves, if we know for a fact Chris isn't sleeping in his bedroom anymore.

I'm thinking Barb and Chris in a perpetual snuggle on the couch.

I don't know, he's 31, a full grown, older male, I think at this point, the buck stops with TGD Chandler. Just because he won't turn to places like this forum (that offer a ton of very honest content that is good/GREAT advice for him to follow) while making excuses for why he can't discern legit help from dumb ]:(P doesn't mean he can't be the genesis of his own remaking of himself. A tangible reward is always a much more effective motivator for anybody, autistic man-child or otherwise, than a vague intangible one but it's not like he doesn't complain on his own volition about losing intangible benefits like freedom that he enjoyed while his dad was alive. I agree with you, he lacks the context mentally to understand how to improve his life right now, but the only person who can expand that context is CWC himself, so I say, it's right back in his lap. Plus what we know he began to explore with Rocky regarding post-Barb life planning shows that he's already beginning to come to the obvious conclusions on this front and is willing to make changes as necessary so at least there's an inclination toward doing something to improve his lot on his part.
He can be his own catalyst, I'm not saying it's impossible but I'm saying it's unlikely without a direct, tangible incentive and very few things motivate him enough, except maybe china. He's wishing for his magical sweetheart to come rescue him from this situation but since he's too paranoid to let anyone in now he's stuck. Without that tangible motivator he has everything to lose and nothing to gain as such by rebelling. He's miserable but he doesn't have a compelling enough reason yet and I also doubt he has the confidence given his latest posts.

He doesn't even sleep in his room anymore? Is he sleeping with his mother?? And how do we know this stuff, what's he been posting about it??

On some subconscious level, Barb is treating Chris like shit out of revenge for a lifetime of being an exhausting autistic trainwreck. Chris has been a needy, unredeemable dependent since birth. Now Barb gets to be the dependent and Chris has to dedicate his entire life to helping her. The shoe is on the other foot.

I don't think she has any particular motives other than being borderline insane and possibly a bit senile. Still, smarter than her son.

I used to figure the same thing but when you think about it she has always used Chris like a stuffed toy for comfort. The spooning has always been an issue and even Bob thought it was off. Now Bob is gone and Barb has no friends... except Chris. Chris is like Tom Hank's Wilson from Castaway except there's no silence to project an inner monologue into to delude yourself into thinking you're speaking to an equal. Remember the look on Chris's face when teddy bear said " I love you". That's what Chris is to Barb now. Something to snuggle with that can mimic human speech.

That teddy bear was just Chris saying "I love you" to himself.

Ha, really? WTF
Yeah, someone slowed the audio down and it was Chris' voice IIRC. Adds a whole other layer of weird to an already weird video.

DangDirtyTrolls is pretty much on target. Chris' relationship with Barb is like he's a very young child. Barb is complete authority to Chris. She's a grownup. Chris has been an adult for a long time, but during this time, he never interacted with his parents as an adult. They've never been on equal footing. They're still grownups to Chris. And Chris is too much of a pussy to disobey his parents, grownups.

The fallout of Ohio really affected this. He's always been a pussy, but Ohio made it so much worse. We, the trolls, always could regularly get videos out of Chris (we kinda had control over Chris in a similar way to Barb), but Ohio was where our authority clashed with Barb's authority in Chris' head. And for once, our authority managed to edge out Barb's just slightly enough to get Chris to grow a pair and disobey Barb in a big way. And the fallout from that decision on Chris' part was so fucking big, that he'll never disobey Barb again. His pussyness grew to incredible proportions after Ohio.

Like, really, Chris is so childish and stupid, I think that there are a lot of things that are unfair to hold Chris responsible for. Some things, like a lot of videos he uploaded, he was just obeying orders for. I mean, Chris can't claim retardation as an excuse for everything. I know Chris knows better on a lot of things. Just, some things people ordered Chris to do, people that he can't say no to.

I had no idea the Ohio incident had such a ripple effect. Despite the fact he was being trolled to do it and he may have been doing it for the wrong reasons (china) it's also one of the few times I've had a bit of respect for him. He saw something out of his comfort zone and after a bit of nudging he did it.

What was his punishment for going to Ohio? I heard he only lost his PSeye for a few weeks after they found out about his sex tape which seems pretty damn tame. Did they finally drop the hammer?

Is taking a road trip to get some china really a bad reason? If the gal pal was genuine he would have had a nice trip.

I don't remember the specifics, but I think the biggest punishment he suffered was the blow to his confidence. One time where he actually grew a pair and stood up to Borb (kinda), he got royally screwed. That's what really sticks in my mind. The threat about changing the locks and whatnot.

There might've been other punishments that I don't remember.

Heh, and I'm reading the email where he mentioned the "changing the locks" threat to Jackie, and it's funny, he's saying that because of that threat, he needs a girlfriend so he can escape Borb's control. But it was specifically a request by Jackie (a potential girlfriend, according to the trolling canon) that he escape Borb's control and hang out with her at otakon. What, is he saying that he needs a girlfriend to specifically come pick him up for him to escape Borb's control?

If Barb is seriously keeping Chris from his own room at 31 years old, then I think Barb managed to be more self absorbed then Chris manages to be.
Chris didn't just wake up one day and decide to be a self-absorbed asshole. He learned that shit from somewhere. I think we all know where.

Its this that in a way, does sadden me. He's not living anymore, yeah, he has consciousness, but no freedom. The way Barb treats him, its as if he is 5 years old again, or a pet. The only world experience he gets now, is a trip to the local McDonalds, or what he learns from Family Guy eps. It's actually is kinda sad that he'll never know of the pleasures in life, like going to the beach, or chillin with friends.

I really think T-shirts are in order:

Yeah, Bob was kind of an ass.

Isn't Chris's PS3 in his room? If his PSN trophies are anything to go by, he still spends a lot of time playing that.

Yes, because otherwise Barb will assume it's a troll. Chris's hope is that if Barb meets Jackie (or Ivy or Julie) in person, she'll let him go free. It's always been a key priority that his new fiancées or business associates meet his family (and his church congregation) because no one but him believes in this bullshit. They're worried, with good reason, that people might be fucking with this mental incompetent.

No, his ps3 isn't in his room, he's not allowed substantial time in his room nowadays.

Eh, that might contribute to it, but I don't know if it's the main reason Chris does it. Chris would love to run away from his parents and become a househusband. If he went to to otakon on his own, he might have to come back home at some point and deal with the consequences from Bob and Barb. If a girl picked him up, her existence would be established, and then he'd have a place to stay to escape Bob and Barb, if he wanted to.

Borb aren't special to Chris, as far as disagreeing with them goes. Just like any other person, Chris will gladly have them as allies if they support his beliefs and have no problem (quietly, because he's a pussy) disagreeing with them if they don't support his beliefs.

That makes sense. Revenge is about the highest level concept Barb has ever been able to process.

For all his boisterous claims to being a contender for master of the universe, Chris really seems to think he always needs someone to give him instructions. To him this usually means someone to rescue him from his problems, but it's always someone else who has to set/maintain/enforce the rules. He can't ever just make his own choices and pay for them himself.
