Out of all of the things he could have picked up from tv, video games and movies, I wonder how many more things he does that we may not be aware of. Such as, bursting out into a random song number like in the movies.

"It's a jolly holiday with Ivy," anyone?

Similar to the influence of video games on Chris (that life is a tricky but inevitably winnable challenge, provided you know the moves), compounded by his strictly black-and-white thought process, he believes that life is inherently trope-able. All the world is a stage with its many stock characters in stock situations, and as such, there must be some stock one-liner or speech you can whip out in order to get what you want (preferably with that music underneath that goes "la la la").

^Yeah, he sees his life as a videogame...Too bad Chris wasnt properly tested and is full of bugs, rendering his life unwinnable...

Like a glitch of some sort

The problem isn't that there are glitches, but rather that there's a lack of cheat codes.

^The worst thing is he tried to utilize a game genie and still failed.
