Chris and Suicide

I think this came up before, in another forum. After reading his new FB post I thought we should make a thread about it. A lot of people have the impression that Chris might consider suicide at some point. Not to sound like some expert Christorian, but Chris is more likely to get his act together than he is to off himself. This comment, like many others, was written by Christian Weston Chandler, the same man who used, and abused everything in his power, to his own ends, for virtually all his life. His new FB posts make it look like he wants to be seen as a "hurting, trolled person", for him(and many emo teens on social networks), mumbles, hints, and rants about suicide are merely the fast track to pity.

As the old saying goes "Those that talk about it never do it; those that do it never talk about it."

Chris is a shit-talker. He doesn't have the guts to off himself.
Also, His overinflated self-importance will never allow him to imagine a world without him in it.

I agree with you completely. At the root of Chris's personality is overt NARCISSISM. He loves himself far too much to ever seriously contemplate suicide. His talk of suicide is, in my opinion, just another example of him very deliberately and cynically trying to manipulate the emotions and tug on the heartstrings of his "fandase". If I thought he were serious, then yes, I would do whatever I thought I could do to alert the necessary authorities, mental health organizations, etc. As Marvin said, this is just basically the same old same old whine fest, worded for more dramatic effect.

I highly doubt that chris would actually off himself. Although he might be doing it slowly with his lifestyle. If he was going to, he probably would either be far more public about it, or just not say anything.

He's bland and selfish which is a toxic mixture when trying to socialize. Either factor is going to cause some form of resentment or alienation.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe this just pings my creepy radar because I'm a woman, but Chris just gives off ***that*** vibe. He manages to be very off-putting without really having to say or do anything. If he affects me (and potentially others) like this by merely viewing him in a video, just imagine the effect in real life. Of course, my knowledge of Chris and his history and antics may be influencing this feeling on some subconscious level, who knows.....

If Chrissy was a bit more intelligent I would be concerned about this but...luckily, I guess, he lacks the ability to understand and internalize what his future will be like.

Right now in his mind he's just tuffing out the rough times because his one-and-only is just around the corner. Barb will live forever and nothing will ever happen to him; his will always be there and he will live happily ever after.

The rest of us can see that brick wall coming fast at him but not OPL, if he could realize what the future holds then I would be concerned. There ain't no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, barring a genuine miracle.

He's in a tunnel looking at the light at the far end. He knows it's dark right now but all he has to do is get to the light and he'll have a sweetheart and own the gameplace and have a Sonichu game all for himself. That will show the trolls.

Unfortunately, the light is actually a train and when he gets to that it's not going to be pretty.

Yes; a future where he gets to live with his mom, dogs, and for his vidya games instead of various life experiences from a job and going to college to actually do something in his life than to do his sweetheart search there. A future where only material things make him happy than people and life experiences that can change him. A future that is as dark as a black hole.

It's not that's he's being a drama queen, it's that he's whole life has just been turned upside down. While none of us would care if we found out someone didn't like us years ago, Chris's whole life has revolved around all the potential girl-friends he could have had if he had had the know-how on how to get them. He's said so numerous times. He's also felt bouts of depression, heart-aches, and stress because he can't go back to those highschool days... and look where he is now. If it was anyone else but Chris, I'd probably feel a little bad about it.

Chris fucking hates any kind of change, and going from alive to dead is basically the biggest change imaginable. So no, I don't think he could ever actually kill himself. His threats of suicide are probably just him parroting something he heard from Barb or in movies. He's definitely depressed though.
