And that's the worst stuff. He's transitioned alright. From the local creep to the local weird-o. He's scammed people on eBay and etsy. He (she) can choose any gender they want. Does not change behavior. Chris is still a loser with a significant internet stalker following but it's not funny anymore. It's sad. We're all sad (includes me, god knows). It's watching a train wreck happen. All the mentally ill-esque merge crap, getting scammed by other internet weird-os, it's just a matter of time before it all implodes on him. Barb will die sooner rather than later. That will send him over the edge. But we all view it like our father's viewed ants in a cage: we can watch and revel in the insanity.

I wouldn't be surprised if he just responds to pressure by sperging out more and more. The harder life gets, the more abstact his ideas get. And he doesn't seem to have a reverse-gear either. It's just 'tism all the way down, and every time the universe throws a punch at poor Chris, the slope gets a liiitle steeper. I mean, are we just going to forget that he called Ted Bundy a Sonichu?

The 2010's was a decade of extremes for Chris, with a mix of a few extreme highs and myriad extreme lows.

The early 2010's was extremely dark with Bob's death, the Game Place incident and subsequent Snyder trial, the Gal-Pals finally breaking the truth to him, and the fire. The only positive thing that happened to Chris that I can think of is that he finally manned up and fucked a hooker, losing his virginity and largely ending the Love Quest (or at least the more sexual aspects of it)

The mid-2010's was surprisingly a high point in Chris's life and I'd wager the highest point in his life since his discovery in 2007, even if his life was still shitty. He trooned out, but it actually did him some good because it opened him up to a new crowd of people more willing to tolerate him and sometimes even be friendly towards him. He had acquaintances, he played games and hung out with fellow members of his local nerd and LGBT scenes, and his only real major incident was the GameStop incident at the end of 2014.

The late 2010's was when things started taking a much darker turn for the worse as Barb's health declined and the Idea Guys entered the picture. Chris became more unhinged and rambunctious. and thanks to the Idea Guys, he sank into a deep delusion that he has yet to fully snap out of.

The 2020's are going to be one hell of a ride. I think Barb will finally die in the 2020's, and I wouldn't be surprised if Chris decides to go to more conventions in Virginia and Maryland while he still can.

I remain slightly optimistic and think that Barb dying and Chris finally getting a chance to break apart from his fucked up family could be an impetus for positive change in his life. Independence is a huge step that is difficult but often healthy in an autistic life. It may be forced upon him also, I hope at least a care worker tries with Chris. Realistically, Chris is probably too far gone, but I can hope.

yeah i know what you mean. in some ways, his homophobia was sort-of charming.
