Despite the information in Chris Forum Rule #5, we know that Chris lurks in the forums. What I'm curious to know is, can staff determine what he reads? Would it be advisable to make any of that public?

There are many posts that kind of pick apart his life, his mind, his problems and his faults, and many discussions on how he could productively and healthily fix, or at at least ameliorate, those problems and faults. Based on his recent FB posts he doesn't seem to be putting any of those lessons into practice. Yet, none of the forum posts are missives to Chris (the ones that are are locked due to the aforementioned rule), so why does he dismiss everything here as "trolling?"

Or does he?

Is anything from here seeping into that peanut of his? And if not, why does he keep lurking?
 
Because we're all homo trolls dedicated to tormenting his life and slandering his good name.
 
Good question. He would probably take our advice into consideration if it was about good deals on vidya, or a scientific method to dating. Our "advice" mostly pertains to things not in his immediate future, such as when Barb passes. Chris has probably told himself that the grim reaper said that Barb has until 20XX, so he's not going to bother thinking of a plan because that's so long from now.

Although, he could be trying. A salad and sweet tea is (only slightly) better than q-sands and coke. Maybe he is posting those kind of things because he knows we will get the post, and eventually receive feedback?
 
Eh, he'll just dismiss any advice given here because he thinks we're the dang, dirty, trolls.

I don't think it's feasible to know exactly what he's reading. You can rest assured that he basically looks at thread titles that interest him, then goes in and cherry-picks some random thing and discards the rest.

He keeps lurking because he's so mad that we still exist, and he has nothing else to do but seethe over the things that anger him. He doesn't understand that it is not reasonable to just expect we will "go away" at some point.
 
yeah that's what i was figuring. he hates it's existence, but yet needs the anger and stress it causes him.

I don't think he consistently eats salads, but he's been trying that line of "healthy McD's" since at least Kacey got on him about his diet.

In a way, it's kind of like liberals who listen to Rush Limbaugh just to get pissed off. A sizable portion of his audience actually comes from this.

How else would he feel justified in claiming superiority over everyone? :tomgirl:

There's also his victim complex. I think he reads these forums to both validate said victim complex and as a scapegoat for why his life is so terrible. Of course, even if we all go away, he'll just find something else to blame or continue to blame us anyway for having done irreparable harm to his "good" name, ala Megan and Snyder.

What I find funny about this is that him calling us trolls is that most of us haven't actually trolled him. As far as I know it is Marvin and Alec. Hell if we're lenient we could say Cyan for going to the trial but that's about it. Besides them we are simply watchers. Observing yet having a strong non-interfering stance.

Chris' definition of "troll" seems to extend to anyone who criticizes or discusses him in any way that isn't 100% positive, so I'm pretty sure he's of the opinion that almost everyone on this forum is out to get him.

It doesn't matter whether it's dredged up from posts on this forum or spoken straight to his face by a gal-pal, advice or suggestions on how to fix his life are meaningless to Chris. Chris doesn't want advice, he wants people to actively go out and perform the necessary actions to fix his life for him.
And that's before you take into account the fact that any advice starts with him admitting fault and that his life's current state isn't down to anybody else but him and his parents.

Its from Game of Thrones, and is "The Boy" (I am loathe to spoil anything for fans who somehow missed the past few episodes....somehow, so I wont reveal his true name) wiggling a very suspicious and sinister sausage.
