Lovequest Chris and the Hooker

We already have a jillion other "Chris and the hooker" threads, I see no need to derail this one. If you think this is worthy of further discussion, we should probably take it elsewhere.
For this reason, I'm reopening the Chris and the hooker thread. If this was improper, someone can relock it.
My point was that sex is something that requires a certain level of emotional maturity.
Ah, see, I see that as being very, very far divorced from the reality of sex. Teenagers have sex. Retards have sex. Rednecks have sex. Just watch Maury. People are constantly have sex for dumb reasons. Lots of people are embarrassed or shy or awkward. Lots of people aren't ready for it.

But it still happens.

I've generally come to the conclusion that, most of the time, it's dumb to police sexual encounters after the fact. I mean, of course there are exceptions. Statutory rape is a solid example. But outside of things like that, I think the best we can do is consider the positives and negatives.

Now, with Chris, what were the positives? Well, he lost his virginity. He stopped obsessing about sex, specifically. He gained confidence. Now, what were the negatives? Well, Chris lost money. Chris also might've lost social status because he was forced to lose his V-card to a hooker.

Considering these issues, by and large, I think the positives overwhelmed the negatives.

Of course, there is the issue of the ethics behind prostitution. That's a valid issue, but I think that's more appropriate to another thread.

Oh, I have no interest in policing sex. I just think it's mistaken to assume anyone who can get themselves off should be commended for doing so.

Here's a good example of why I don't think Chris should be encouraged to have sex: do you honestly think, left Completely to his own devices, he could be trusted to use a condom every time he has an encounter?

Not sure if it's been asked before, but is Chris's neck of the woods really a pimp-slapping ghetto paradise? He's in the vicinity of a college town, which I imagine would be fairly friendly and accepting of sex workers.

I wonder what horrified her more... The horrific bent tent of what was about to terrorize her cavity or his :briefs:
I'm not a hooker and I never was but here's the part that would freak me out if I was.
It's not that Chris is a horrific sack of shit because horrific sacks of shit is basically your daily job, I'm willing to bet she was grossed out for like, an hour and moved on to her next shitsack.
It's the massage, the 'pleasent conversation', and the phone call later to ask how she was doing. This could come from a regular, but a guy you've serviced once. That's creepy.

He knows to use a condom. He is, mentally, a child, but he's aware enough to give consent, and that's what matters.
Is he? Chris knows less about sex than most 10-year-olds I can think of, and I don't want THEM having sex. This is precisely why I bring up his mental age: I don't see a functional difference between Chris having sex and a 10-year-old having sex. There isn't a single concern I would apply to one that would be inapplicable to the other.

I want to agree with you, but there are couples out there with Down's syndrome having sex - is their understanding of it any better than chris'? Should they not be allowed to express their affection in that way?
It would be one thing if someone else initiated the sex and he just went along with it. But as far as he knows, this is what he wanted, and he's 32 years old. It's not our place to say that it was inappropriate

Does he? He said there was a "smidge" of semen on the outside of his condom when they finished :\.
Well we will have to wait 16 years. If there is some teenage lolcow showing up on the YouTube sperging on about Angry Birds or something like that while dressed like a fucking clown with a bent clit and rambling on about how the mean girls at school have given her numerous pairs of DIRTY, CRAPPED BOYSHORTS we will know for sure.

He was a virgin, past his sexual peak age-wise, and generally very unfit. I don't want to think about this too hard, but I doubt he'd have been able to make a second round within the hour.

I think the he probably appreciated the forced audience he had. It's the first guaranteed non-troll woman he's had a conversation with in who knows how long. Sure getting laid was great, but let's not act like didn't get off on the boyfriend/girlfriend roleplay too. Most people have the dignity to leave after fucking a hooker, but he milked every ounce out of that experience.

Not for nothing, has anything in his life really changed for the better because of the hooker? After all, he's still lazy and unemployed, he's still fat and unhealthy, he still fills his days with vidya, lego, and fucking about, he still gropes women he meets IRL, and he's still saddened about not having best friends, a girlfriend, or any meaningful pursuits on which to spend his days. He was already moving away from his ridiculous sweetheart-search shenanigans before visiting the hooker (~2011, IIRC), so it's not like he was still going strong in that area. Even regarding a 'sex obsession', it also seems like he has always been more obsessed with having a companion than a sex partner, so is his (seeming) lessened drive even really a thing? While it's hardly of any meaning to debate whether or not he should visit hookers, its benefits do seem to be pretty dubious

Chris's stupidity gets pretty exaggerated on here. He is very far off the level of slow-in-the-mind where "can he consent to sex?" is an issue.

He can drive a car, albeit slowly and badly. He got a college degree - again, slowly and badly.

He's a manchild, but he doesn't actually have the mind of a 10 year old...

Chris understood that it was going to be one of the biggest days of his life, such as it is, and he may have really pulled out all the stops to make the most of it. For Chris, that might mean that he took a shower!

One thing I am curious about is what was different about Chris's second visit, compared to his first. What did he do differently?

I wonder if he's going to make another visit. Didn't he go the first time since he feared he was going to be in jail/prison for a while? With is pending legal matters, maybe he'll justify spending his tugboat on a hooker again. I wonder if he's going to try to "tribe" the poor unfortunate soul who is tasked with sleeping with Chris.

Oh god, that was a terrifying thought, I need some rest.
