It has been mentioned many times that Chris's mind is like that of a child. It is no different here.
Chris does not have the mind of a child. Chris is merely childish. There's a big difference.
TLDR: Chris is a 30-year-old 6-year-old. And kids in that age range tend to believe a lot of crazy stuff, not for any spiritual reason, but because they don't know any better.
Chris doesn't think he can immediately, physically affect the world around him with his magic. He doesn't believe he can fly. He doesn't believe that if he steals something from walmart, that he can blame it on Sonichu. Chris does know bettter.

Chris' beliefs are of a religious/superstitious character, like normal adults with crucifixes and lucky charms and bullshit like that. Treating Chris as a child in an adult's body kind is an oversimplification.

Well he does believe in GODJESUS. That by definition is supernatural. He engages in a lot of "Magical thinking" as others have pointed out (curses, believing his thoughts having real world effects, etc).
My favourite related event was in 2013 when Chris scratched another car with his and after being approached by a cop started screaming in public cursing godjesus for his misfortune. (Instead of say admitting it was a direct result of his actions)

He probably has a mild belief in ghosts and the idea that dead relatives can "come back" if you really need it (a la his Ohio blessings). I'd say a lot of average people share the same belief since it's moderate and isn't gun-ho faith or doubt. It can be comforting to believe that your relatives are still around in come capacity, even if you never encounter it.

But Chris probably doesn't think about it enough unless it suits him.

Has Chris ever expressed a belief in the supernatural (as opposed to believing he's super whilst au naturel)? There's the time he as JenkinsJinkies claimed that he'd been attacked by the ghosts of Patti and himself in an attempt to scare trolls, but I've been wondering if there was anything else besides that.

He believes that ghosts on the Internet (called trolls) haunt him every day.

He certainly believes in witches, because he doesn't use the term of Mary Lee Walsh being a witch metaphorically because she casts spells and rides on a broom. In terms of religion like the people above me have stated he picks and chooses what he wants to use from Christianity.

I don't think that Chris, his characters or the people in his life have any supernatural powers.
Unless autism is a supernatural power... *sigh*

Chris legit believes he's a pagan shaman - he believes he can influence the outcome of future events via ritual.

Apparently when Chris was in college and was having discipline meetings with Mary Lee Walsh, he started to "talk with" Sonichu out of thin air, all in his imagination. Then all of a sudden, he was talking as Sonichu! That's frightening! Put yourself in MLW's shoes as you have a big smelly manchild in front of you suddenly pretending to be manifested by his imaginary friend.

That's actually extremely creepy. It comes off as schizophrenic.
Might tie into the whole "Chris thinks fictional characters are real" theory - behavioral manifestations of psychosis.

Yikes.

Chris is supernatural in that she is somehow still alive

Chris absolutely believes in the supernatural. As stated earlier, he legitimately believes he has the power to curse people, and has used them in literal battles against not just Mary Lee Walsh and da twolls, but against security guards in real time (i.e. in the Target parking lot) as well. Possibly the police too, but I can't remember specifically. He believes that his curse works, in that it resulted in Walsh's reputation being damaged, and he likely believes that his curse against Snyder is what caused the Game Place (in all its iterations) to finally close.

I think he probably believes in ghosts, too. I don't remember if there's any real evidence of this beyond the JenkinsJinkies posts on the old forums, but the phrase "Aunt Corina's ghost" keeps popping into my head. I think he's also tried to sic the ghost of Patti and his father on people; maybe someone can help confirm? I can't get onto the CWCki at work.

Oh, and let's not forget Imaginationland/Toon Town, which Chris thinks is for real. That's part of why he would get so upset about people making changes and insinuating things about Sonichu and Friends, because it was actually affecting them.

Chris believes in ghosts and the supernatural the same way kids believe in ghosts. He believes in them cuz he heard stories about it, but hasn't applied any critical thought to it. He doesn't have a deep seated belief in ghosts, but has the same opinion of them as a child after hearing a ghost story.

/thread.

I think Chris believes in the supernatural to some extent - I think he genuinely does believe that he can influence events by the power of his mind, which, when you think about it, isn't too different from those New Age witch-types. He probably believes in ghosts and various other minor supernatural phenomena from cartoons. He's a Christian, but only at a very basic, childish level - we're talking My First Bible Stories level.

However, I also believe there's a second aspect of this. Chris is pretty arrogant (also lacks a theory of mind), and believes that he is very much smarter than other people. So I think a lot of his wilder claims aren't so much him believing that e.g. he's talking to Sonichu or the ghost of his 8-year-old self haunts 14BC as that he thinks other people are stupid enough to believe him.

I'm not sure where the prophetic dreams thing falls, although I suspect it's more that he makes them up and then expects others to believe him - again, he probably thinks most people believe in prophetic dreams, because that's what happens in cartoons and movies. In reality, dreams are never as comprehensible or convenient as his seem to be.
