To be honest, if a garish, corpulent, feeble minded maniac leaped up at her, shoved his MANOS in her face and started shrieking in clear aggression, her reaction of suspension for attacking her is perfectly natural.

It may not be "technically physical" but remember, Chris is a certified tardwhale, while MLW seems to be a rather small old lady (or a rather small hawt blonde with awesome TNA depending on who you ask), so she had every right to feel threatened when he went into his rage state

I imagine he thought MLW misunderstood what he was doing and then "helpfully" explained himself, came off as creepy, MLW called him out on his idiocy/creepiness, and it then escalated from there until Chris tard raged.

Yeah, as we've seen time and time again, Chris can only escalate a situation, not deflate it.

Bingo. In advising whenever we had a student angry at us, we would always make sure others were near, just in case. For extreme cases we let Campus Police know. Even if it's an outside possibility, having a 25 year old manchild, a big guy at that, who smells and is talking to himself and getting obviously disturbed is a threat, period. Most experienced Higher Ed administrators can handle it but it's still an experience they do not want.
