Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

The internet has toxic people on it. Who knew?

Still, Geno should keep working on it because its his magnum opus, and if nothing else it brings in viewers for his nice citypop efforts that are good on their own merits. The more he works on his Chris documentary, the more some of us will pay attention to Geno's other interesting endeavors.

I think, because of the current situation, Geno is assessing the situation. I think there's post made by Chris in that documentary that leads up to why Chris put himself into and is standing trial in the first place. I'll never imagine an hiatus for Geno panning out, like that but yeah, I think Geno should continue whenever he gets that chance.

I think this whole thing is a little gay. Seems to be par for the course for people covering specific lolcows, tho. They start to get clout, donations and when the lolcow has it's next controversy they "take a break" or "want to branch out". It always never ends well because they don't seem to realize a great chunk of their subs are looking for lolcow lore and not music / gameplay streams / whatever.

At this point I fully expect the next video in the series to never materialize. Hope it was worth it for all the idiots giving Patreon coins and donations...

Man, I dearly hope he finishes it. I've always assumed Geno is either wading through that ever growing Swamp of Sadness as I type this or took a well-deserved break to not end up pulling a Charles Whitman in a clock tower. That kind of stuff get's to you after a while, I've been binging true crime documentaries and Keeping Call of Cthulhu/Delta Green long enough to know this. Geno is doing God's work for people like me who are on Team Classic Chris. I was more into reviewers back then so I can pinpoint exactly when I first heard about CWC: when Iron Liz was dumped by Linkara and word got out she's a tranny. I've stumbled upon ED and the article about the nasty cockslut, surfed the site and BAM!, rabbit hole, But I didn't pay that much attention to post-Bob's Passing Chris because it was WTF and sad instead of funny.

Again, I like how Geno specifically was saying he wanted to take a break so he didn't "take advantage" of the situation. Like fucker, you're already taking advantage of a mentally ill retard just by making the series. Don't try to act like you've got some kind of moral high ground.

Maybe I am misremembering, and this isn't necessarily a Geno defense, but I recall him taking a break prior to the stuff with Chris this time. I also remember him being like, years behind on the timeline anyway. But honestly it's the smart play. He's gonna have eyes on his stuff now and that means a much much higher risk of YouTube or some tranny targeting him and getting his channel deleted. IMO better for him (or anyone doing the same) to lay low and then resume after the stuff is over. It's not a cowardly move to be smart about your income source. I would rather make less money now and just keep quiet than potentially make more money in the short term while risking making zero money in the future just to hit a hot topic.

Edit: Also, again, lets remember that Geno is doing a "history" not a "speculation." Literally everything about the current situation outside of Chris being arrested is speculation. The court stuff isn't out, so really what is Geno gonna say about it?

I never understood why faggots get mad over geno, like the dude presents shit in the least offensive, least sensational way possible. He doesn't speculate, he doesn't make original claims. He isn't super active on twitter he doesn't start fights with people.

YouTube commenter alawgs who get pissy over Genos pronoun usage are retarded. The guys reasoning to switching to female pronouns for Chris was that at that point in the documentary Chris saw himself as a woman so it made more sense to geno to use those pronouns. There used to be a thread pinned on this board that Null wrote that said the only people who are wrong Chris's pronouns are people who argue about them, mergefags and geno tourists should really keep their mouths shut.


That commenter claiming that people calling Chris helped contribute to his degeneracy is fucking stupid, Chris was always a degenerate he didn't benefit from people guarding him.
The only real thing you can say against him imo is that the documentary is really easy to digest and give people the idea that they are "Christorians" after just watching it and that isn't really his fault it's just how people are.

Think the last video leaves off somewhere in 2018 or so?

Although video form would be more popular, I don't mind Geno continuing only in audio form like the ones be posted on Spotify.

This is my only genuine complaint about the documentary. I'm generally a fan of it: it's technically well-done and presents the story in as neutral a way as possible. But because it's so good, it has made CWC much more accessible. Most normal people aren't going to read Kiwi Farms or even read much of the CWCki, so the documentary series has broadened the appeal of Chris. While this isn't inherently a negative thing, its semi-mainstream popularity is what created the final era of weens and A-Logs who would do stupid unfunny shit to try and "get their place in Chirstory." The final act of modern Chris, Bella and her posse, are too young to have been involved during the classic era and instead were introduced to Chris through Geno's documentary.
