Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

So I know Geno said he'd do untill he dies but Chris could be gone for a looong time. Would be fitting to end the doc when Chris goes to prison and geno will finally be free.

I've said it before so I'm not going to put it as eloquently then. Bob's a product of his time. Some of his bad behaviors and personalities shouldn't define him as it was the norm and culture raised in growing up.
Bob may have fucked up his previous marriage and life with his children. To Bob, he thought raising Chris would be his second chance as a father. To right the wrongs in his youth, but really. Chris was the hell on earth for his actions.
Reason why Bob is remembered more fondly is because Bob tried. Though Bob's too old. He would've been an okay grandpa, but not a father. In all of Chris' videos of Bob. Bob put the fear of God in Chris and actually gave Chris structure in their life.
Really the only bad part of Bob is denying Chris the special assistance he needed, but let me ask you. If you grew up and you saw people be dragged away in straight jackets, strapped and tied to a post like a dog, sedated like a vegetable, and experimented without care. Theres no way Id let them take my son who can function somewhat in society. It would have to be an extensive breakdown equal to those nazi and communist deconversions they had to do post WW2 to teach Bob that mental health assistance isn't the same it was 20 years ago.
I'm sure image and appearance means a lot to Bob and in his mind. "It's not his son, it's X reasoning why" as a way to cope. It's bad parenting and one of the bad portion of Bobs personality. But let's be honest, nowadays a lot of parents are like this. Because it reflects on them. By saying your child did wrong. You essentially take responsibility and that you didnt raise them right. It's a whole lot of copium.
One of the few moments I felt bad for Chris. If I recall it wasn't Chris' actions that led to him being kicked out. It was the stupid ass faggot weens constantly harassing the gym.

He probably thinks more about Robertchu not criticizing him. It's hard to tell if there's any memories of his dad left in Chris' mind now that that his coping is taking over.

It was a bit of both. If the weens weren't calling, be best assured that the staff would've received complaints and told Chris to knock it off. This is Chris, so he wouldn't get the memo because he's not a fan of authority.

Chris has an effect where anyone associated with him automatically looks reasonable because he's just so ridiculous (even Kengle imo). Sockness is one of the few people who doesn't look reasonable around Chris.

The only thing I have against Bob is him paying vulnerable and young women (underage girls to be exact, before HS graduation,) to be around his handsy violent sperg of a son. Case in point why Chris still thought he had a reason to believe he should be (should, not could) part of Megan's life still despite her "sweetheart". Gross all the way down imo.
Watching Chris rp his kins or whatever like a 14 year old's tumblr blog would be hilarious if I didn't constantly think about Barb looking like a hostage victim sitting on his bed. Then I remember it happened in her bed because his bed was probably a sacred area for humping his magical girl wifes/husband pillows and it just gets worse.

I never thought of it this way. Makes sense that it would add into Chris' sense of entitlement. If Chris weren't so much of a coward, he would be someone like a Ted Bundy (a person Chris believes is innocent, btw). I wish Bob was more harder on Chris just to get rid of his bad habits, but apparently Bob refused to believe Chris can do no wrong, which brings us to today.

Yeah this is basically it for me. It's easy to say things like Bob is a racist boomer or whatever but to me its the subtly of it all. I'm sure none of us as logical adults would want an autistic male child, often times bigger and more aggressive than, around female children. This is how rape happens with two underaged children often (though without the autism I guess, just in general) and people brush it under the rug because "boys being boys" or "I just wanted her to be nice to him a while".
So Bob showing Chris that you can pay girls (and subsiquently women,) for love and attention taught him to feel entitled to this. Plenty of dudes grow up like this actually but not everyone is Chris-chan, most people at least try to mask it as something else in their relationships.
But you know, hindsight is 20/20 and all that.

Well, Chris ended up doing just that. It's odd that for Chris and his impulsive and addictive traits, instead of paying for lego and vidya, he didn't pay for sex constantly. However, Chris' depraved sex life came back and well... As you said, some guys are used to putting masks on; Chris does the complete opposite. I don't think Bob was aware of how much starved for sex Chris was, and didn't do what some dad's would do for their son's once they came of age: take them to a brothel.
I'm sure Bob felt some regret in the way Chris turned out. Spending all that time for Chris to start speaking, hand holding him through out college only to not do a thing with his certificate/degree, and the only resort for Chris to live comfortably was the tugboat. By the time Chris turned 30 and started his tom girl phase, Bob was already at death's door.

Bob definitely felt shame and anger with Chris for crying on his graduation day, in the X-mas video where Chris is waiting for Santa to bring him a "boyfriend free girl" and forces Bob to read that aloud you can see the subtle horror in Bob's reaction. Bob really shouldn't have been surprised how Chris turned out the trooning and narcissism and all. He raised Chris like a child.

After Bob got the tugboat, that was it. Chris lived the life of a spoiled hillbilly/redneck (even hillbillys put in effort and most of them work). I can't imagine what it was like for Bob wasting the time and money in PVCC, hoping that Chris could get a job like normal people, but didn't realize to him and Barb's mainstreaming that it blew up in their face. There has to be some embarrassment there, and the last thing Bob sees before he dies is his unemployed, good for nothing son in a dress.

Yes, since at least middle school, Bob paid girls to be friends or look out for Chris. The HS gal-pals were paid with good marks via the principal, or they legit pitied him. There were trolls pretending to be Manchester high gal pals that got to Chris ("we only hung out with Chris because we felt sorry for him."). Chris got confirmation from Barb, and Chris contacted the actual gal-pals, which shattered Chris' world (and may have contributed to his current world view).

Bob probably had the highest hope for Chris out of anyone. The dreaming studio, his letters to Chris, helping him out of debt, making him take CADD in PVCC. He tried his damnedest to make Chris not only into a functional member of society, but maybe even something greater. It really sucks that all that effort went to waste on someone like Chris
