The sponsor taking people out of it makes sense, but the way sponsor contracts are written is retarded and predatory, and someone like Geno who hasn't had them before is especially susceptible to shitty deals. They definitely said it had to be within the first four minutes and they definitely said it couldn't be natural, it had to be a clear endorsement. At least the let it be short, and at least we got to hear Terry say nigger before Youtube's magic seven minute mark.

Nothing wrong with the sponsorship, I think most people are in that camp, but if you dont have the option to plug at the end of the video, maybe do it before the intro. I genuinely thought it was an actual chris/magichan larp for a good 20 seconds. Especially since chris has been known to randomly talk like a random advertisement from time to time.

For those using yt-dlp to download local archives of the videos, you can use the --sponsorblock-remove sponsor --force-keyframes-at-cuts argument to cut out the sponsor segment. It'll take a very long while, over an hour in my case, but it'll perfectly snip out the sponsor bit.

Sad to see the integrity of the documentary compromised.

The relentless cocksucking from the comment section in his videos is great. The ones like "omg guize did you notice how DARK the intro is getting with all the glitching and stuff?? it's just like how chris's life is spiraling out of control...soooo deep, thank u for ur journalism geno!!!!" are what really irks me. This motherfucker isn't doing any "journalism;" he's literally just reading the cwciki and putting in video form. I get that it takes time and effort to edit and people get turned on by his nature doc voice, but holy shit he's not some kind of genius videographer.

I mean, I kind of see the argument that he included it purely for completeness' sake since it's Chris's reaction to the doc itself, but there was that bit earlier on where he's whining about the doc getting him banned from YouTube, which was  not directly related to Chris.

If he wasn't so clearly bitter about his channel getting axed I'd be willing to give him some leeway, but the way he indirectly inserts himself into his own doc is pretty self-indulgent.

Chris (or null on Chris' account) responded on Twitter to deny she had anything to do with the ban after many people accused her of taking it down, so it is relevant.
