Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

This documentary is actually pretty good. It's well made, has good editing, I don't mind the sound track either and IT'S NOT FUCKING OBNOXIOUS. I can't wait for Part II.

the best part was the creator not attention whoring. he just put it up on youtube and i stumbled across it.

speaking of attention whores, here's that bryanfrogboy interacting with some furry

Unless you're the creator. :catparty:

But seriously, the documentary is quite good. The author's not taking sides, sticking only to the facts about Chris' life and not indulging in theories. I'd say it's the best option for people that want a better knowledge on Chris, while not spending hours searching for it on CWCki. Or for those, who just want to refresh their memory.
That said, I'm waiting for the second part - and most probably beyond, as there is still a lot of material to cover.

Seriously though, none of the mods follow Chris??
We all did but over time Chris has become so one note, and so synthetic, with a board culture so totally compromised by people being angry and stupid there's no reason to read anything here. What do people get out of reading these threads now? What compels someone to photoshop a dildo to Chris's head and use it as their avatar? What the fuck does that do for you? Avatars like that just make the person using them look disturbed.

Watching people post here is like watching someone making out with their car. Even with really gross, disturbing fetishes, you understand where that sexual fervor comes from, but people who who are sexually attracted to car upholstery are just weird. I cannot for a second imagine what after 10 years of Chris's gradual decline people get out of day to day following of him. The war of attrition that is Chris's content is now entertainment almost exclusively for people like Hirtes who have obvious problems.

I glance at a thread in this board only when tagged or my attention is brought to it and I think the same can be said about all the other mods. Almost all of them come from a time this website was simply the CWCki Forums. People who've been around in various incarnations since 2011. None of them follow it either.

There's so much diversity on this site, so many pockets of drama that I can't even begin to keep up with all of them, that Chris by comparison is dull. He would not deserve a board if he was discovered recently. He'd be a thread that's about 11 pages long. If the rest of the site is some big coral reef filled with biodiversity, Chris is the brown dying section we're dropping old school buses in to try and stimulate growth.

If the maker of this documentary came here beforehand to announce this documentary, everyone would have vehemently opposed him doing it, and he wouldn't have done so.

In all the threads on Kiwi Farms, I skip over all the people doing armchair commentary and focus on the content. I want to see pictures and video and hear news about things that happened since I last checked in. A joke here and there is fun, but like everything else on the internet, it's up to the reader to filter for himself. When the signal to noise drops below a certain level, I jump ship to another thread and come back in a couple of weeks and see if there's anything new. It works fine for me. Expecting all of the posts to be worthwhile isn't realistic. This documentary gathered together a lot of gems and presented them clearly. To me, that's a good thing.

I don't see the point in re making documentaries on chris that only have found footage, the only thing mine had going was that it was the only one of it's kind at the time. Now that others have come out they all make each other (mine included) get lowered. The only time I would ever think a new one would be warranted is if it was a in person interview with an actual camera crew and a studio something similar to the film "Crumb". And after talking to him, i'm not sure if there is anything there. Kind of lost my interest.

Also I don't know where people get this weird perception that I somehow stand by my 15 year old's self work and think it should be put in theaters. Kind of like how Tommy Wiseu thinks the room is the greatest film ever made. It was a silly little thing I made for fun when I was a kid.

Yeah, kind of like those shows on A&E where they chronicle the lives of serial killers with firsthand interviews from Chris, Snyder, Marvin, and Chris' parole officer.

An interview with Megan and/or the Wallflower would be gold in that case.
Assuming Chris doesn't murder them with his magical powers.

remember @spylobster and his high school project? we were actually really pleased because everyone kept making threads asking about documentaries and never made them
That was the only good thing about that documentary. The actual documentary itself was ass.
Can we classify these autistic "documentary" makers as weens?
They're not really weens, more like big spergs. If they were trying to troll Chris in idiotic ways then they'd be more like weens, but like the people who were doing the more recent interviews they're just spergs who want to attach themselves to Chris for attention.

It's not a true documentary if there's not a celebrity or British person narrating it.

Only if it were Steven Toast where he could take the piss out of Boris Johnson, then mayor of London and now UK's Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, occasionally ...like he's doing here :)
