Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I've been enjoying it, although at this point I'm wondering how many dozens of parts long it's going to be.

Really enjoying this new documentary too, I've been aware of Chris for a really long time and I'm hearing stuff I never knew about from it. I don't envy the task of making the inevitable dozens of parts this will likely amount to, though.

"Saddened by the loss of his own parents, he wanted Chris to make a video, with Bob and Barb and have them express how proud they are of him. He said that he would film it soon. He never did."

:'(

These are really good but they highlight the one major issue with any attempt to document Chris in a compelling narrative. At this point, no one associated with Chris would ever agree to an interview, which is going to hold back any doc/book, because you need a human take for perspective and emotional weight. It would help the humor too because watching these, you miss how funny some of this shit was. In its current form it's just a straight recap. This is an incredible story, but there's no discussion. I appreciate the lack of commentary, but it borders on robotic. Sometimes it works like with PandaHalo, which was so wild you just need to hear it straight, but the Christmas video is begging for an aside to talk about his relationship with Borb.

Also he's way too nice on Barb. Bob got an interesting segment but holy shit, even in 08, people knew Barb was a lunatic.

I legit didn't know about the fake Reggie e-mailing Chris. That's what's great about this series; it really is comprehensive and covers things casual fans may not have known about.

We're getting pretty close to his Ohio road trip it seems like. That was particularly lulzy from what I remember.

How the fuck would you know that for sure?
