Just speculation, but I always assumed this was one of three things:

1. Chris saw something like a tape recorder and made an autistic inference that they were recording the event
2. The folks at the school were recording him in an effort to document what was going on. Like, if an angry autistic child was chimping out hard enough that they might hurt themselves or someone else, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to document what was happening.
3. Chris made it the fuck up

Recording a conversation (if autistic tard rage is a conversation) without consent of at least one party is a felony in Virginia. Of course, there's a lot of blurry lines in this case since you could technically consider the teachers "restraining" Chris a party of this conversation. I still doubt they'd record him just to document it though. Plenty of witnesses there.

Anna is a proto-troll. She's been around for a decent amount of time (since 2005 IIRC; I'm too lazy to bother looking on the CWCki), as they met when she worked at the PacSol in the Charlottesville Fashion Square. However, to my knowledge, she never participated in trolling schemes. The one time I know of her interacting with trolls, she got pissy that they only wanted to talk about Chris and that no one wanted to talk about her.

Yes, and she's not happy about it.

Yeah, she's definitely aware. For years, she didn't even have her contact info up on the PVCC website, presumably because trolls would constantly call her office. I checked a few years ago (around 2013 I guess) and it was listed again, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were taken back down once Chris became more active again.

The recording party counts as one party. They weren't doing anything shady and didn't need Chris to give permission to record.

More interesting to me is that this means Chris indirectly admits to be SCREAMING in class often enough that it warrants recording. Imagine how badly he must have been chronically chimping out over the least matter.

I remember reading somewhere (I think it was Pastebin, definitively not the CWCki) about Kacey's description of their encounter between those two events.
