Chris claims that over 20 years ago, he was surveilled during his honeymoon, arrested and brought to court (supposedly not charged) for allegedly being involved in international drug smuggling and spying for Turkey. The judge apparently ordered his release.

Also that a few years ago, he and his ex-partner Louise (sadly, apparently they are no longer together...so much for the sentiments I expressed earlier) were in Cyprus and got stopped by the military but released without incident (the title is kinda clickbaitey on that point).


His video included an image of an old newspaper with a picture of him from about 20 years ago:

The video description e-begs for his ex (so I guess they are still on good terms) and states that apparently she is trying to seek asylum (from the UK) in Cyprus:

She was tracked across Europe by Interpol (Yes you read that correctly) and no crime was committed by her or me. I had armed police called on me over this on deliberate false allegations which I promptly refuted and the police called their dogs off from possibly shooting me in my own home I have all this on video folks!). Louise is the first person in history to make an Asylum application against the UK in Cyprus.
