So according to this article, there are pending charges. Is there any speculation from legal eagles on what those charges might actually be? - more offences move it to a class 6 felony 1-5 years + 2,500 fine

of course all this depends on the evidence provided. If they found evidence in/on barb, written or filmed records on his computer, if barb is found well enough and says it was consensual or her doing to spare her precious child incarceration, and if he is framed as mentally unwell ( which he has already doing a pretty good job at).

The holdup is that Greene County hasnt empaneled their Grand Jury for August yet. They empanel a Grand Jury on the 2nd Monday of each month, so next Monday there’ll be a new Grand Jury and I’m sure that’s when the DA will present the Grand Jury with everything he’s got and get indictments from them for additional charges.

basically, the reason Chris was picked up and held on Incest charges is because they already had enough evidence to hold him on that without already having an indictment. Now that they have him in custody, they can take their time dotting all the I’s and crossing all the T’s before adding additional charges. I’d look for those new charges sometime next week or week after next. Definitely before any hearing to reconsider bond.

You can pay extra to stay in a different/better jail if the court agrees. Glendale CA's city jail is definitely nicer than LA County Twin Towers and other places; Kiefer Sutherland did his time at Glendale -- at the time you had to petition the court and get the OK, then pay $80 a night for the length of your sentence in advance for the privilege of staying at a jail where it's only cops and four cells, and you're just assigned janitorial duties etc.
