Chris likely didn't have the foresight to lie during the interrogation or use his phonecall to get council from a lawyer to tell him to shut up. He probably told them everything like it is when he was arrested because he's an imbecile that had no conception of the consequences. The "I was just making shit up" ship might have sailed.
Like children do when they know they did something bad, he's probably given his (equally damning) explanation to everyone he's met since.

Guys I escaped the merge to post here. The real Chris was taken hostage, and the Chris who raped Barb was liquid Chris. If we give all our energy to Chris, he can use it to escape and clear his name. Sonichu and Rosechu are crying how liquid is ruining the good name of their father. Trust the plan.

You guys ever think maybe Bob faked his death to escape and he’s in fact still alive somewhere?
yeah hes drinking pina coladas on a beach in bermuda somewhere.

I should suggest watching GenoSamuel's. It's an ongoing documentary about Chris on YouTube, it's on a hiatus for early 2022, you can still check it out.
he uploaded the new episode last night.

came back to a mountain of shit
In terms of describing this dumpster fire of a situation, you could do a lot worse.

Just imagine trying to bullshit your way proving your client is innocent.
That's not the defense attorney's only job. It's also his job to try to minimize the legal impact on Chris' life -- get a favorable plea bargain (copping to a pile of misdemeanors to avoid a felony would be a big win), argue for a lighter sentence (by showing mitigating factors that counterbalance any aggravating factors) -- and also to set the stage for a potential appeal down the road (even if this attorney isn't the one who ends up pursuing it). No matter how reprehensible a guilty defendant's crimes were he's still entitled to due process, and ensuring he gets it is one of the defense attorney's most important jobs.

Regarding appeals, one reason why attorneys sometimes don't quite argue a point as hard as they "should" is they realize the judge will rule the wrong way on it anyway and an appellate court could later find that he was wrong and either reverse the ruling or order the lower court to reconsider it and not screw it up this time.

Whats his lawyer supposed to do for Chris?
See above.

Ben Saint (I know, I know) recently posted his Sonichu 102: Advanced Chistory video he filmed in March of 2020 (why he released it on July 31, 2021, I have no idea). Regardless of what you think of Ben, he gives a good run down of the Sonichu comics (especially if you don't want to slog through them yourself) and they're...uh, well, let's just say that I pity the poor therapist who has to look at them. The Sonichu comics have always been largely autographical and weird sort of insight into Chris' thoughts & psyche. It's...it's somethin'....

EDIT: Apologize for lateness, I've tried my best to keep up with the thread, but...eh.

I dont think Chris is worried about his stuff at the house. I doubt he can conceive of someone breaking into his house because it's never happened before so it's beyond his thought range.

No Chunky is worried about whatever new crap he bought and was forced to leave st the motel when the jerkops nabbed him.

He worried about $250 bucks of Lego and not potentially spending the next 10 year's of his life in jail.

That how extra special Chris is.
