That's why I feel like he will not face any real hard repercussions because say what you want about Chris but he has some mega level luck when it comes to court. I feel like his luck will even help him in this court case. Granted I don't think he will get off scot-free and move back home with his mother like nothing ever happened but I don't think he will be going away to prison for a long time.
You can't be "sentenced to a mental health facility". His retarded ass will get put on meds so he'll shut up, then show up to trial and go to prison.
Technically you cannot but they can find somebody incompetent to stand trial and send them to a mental health facility. It may be better or may be worse considering if you go to prison you at least have a date when you are able to leave however if you're at a mental health facility you don't get to leave until they see you are a functional human being that does not pose a danger to yourself or others. In other words if Chris goes to prison he will get out one day but if he goes to a mental health facility there's a chance he could spend the rest of his life there.
When I first read that I got the impression of the opposite: that Chris was stamping his feet like a toddler and trying to make it seem like he wanted to go home and collect his toys, but his true intentions were to delete evidence and videos of him fucking Barb, probably burn some marker drawings he made too.
That's not true, though. The whole point of the evaluation is to see if he's functional enough to communicate with his lawyer and make decisions on stuff. If they actually do say he's not competent to stand trial (extremely unlikely, extremely high bar to meet) then he'll go to some inpatient facility until he's fit for trial. They wont keep him in there forever. Once they've got him on a regimen he'll go back to court and be prosecuted. It's a totally useless exercise for him. Autism isn't a get out of jail free card.
i know, thats what scares me, but im hoping since this is incest, rape / sexual assault of a mentally incapacitated person, i hope with this , if they look at this AND his past which is violence, im hoping his luck runs out, especially if they do that full mental eval, that will hopefully show chris is is not capable of living on his own or functioning safely in society , fingers crossed they do the right thing and hold him responsible, also, it might be worth noting since this is become already such a high profile case, i have a feeling that there would be a literal mob that hunts chris down, if he manages to weasel out of facing hard time.

I think he is talking about the possibility of Chris being sent to a psychiatric hospital. However, they would still need a trial to determine that.
