I took a look at chris list of video games. DAYUM, I wonder how long it would take for Chris to finish all of the ones on the PS3?
If chris rots infront of Vidya all day, what game is he specifically playing? Because the amount of time Chris' plays Vidya, and his sleep habits, I think he would've made a decent dent in his backlog by now.
Did chris get a Wii U?

Chris has a WiiU, his activity is pretty much unknown since there's no real tracker like the PSN, but you can imagine he has plenty of games and DLC for it as well.

Chris just buys shit because he literally has nothing else to do, as of right now I'd imagine he's sinking a lot of time into the new Animal Crossing. Having a happy, colourful, inoffensive world that he can disappear into and bend to his will is right up his street and he needs it now more than ever.

Chris only plays a few of his collection. The important part isn't that he plays and enjoys any of his games, just that owns them. He can't control himself. He just has to have it because it gives him a little kick every time he seems a new title in his list.

Knowing Chris's parents, they probably ingrained in him the idea that material wealth is a measure of a person's worth. Barb certainly perpetuated this idea in Chris's youth--keep in mind, she used to entice him with Transformer and Go-Bot toys if he would talk. Chris has carried this idea into adulthood and it shows in his game collection. Every game he downloads--even if he doesn't play it--is a reassurance that he's a successful and worthwhile person.

I doubt that Chris is ever going to open a lot of those games.

Not to mention he probably picked up the idea of never passing up a bargain from his goodwill hoarding mother. Regardless of the fact he's spending more in the long run.

Imagine him buying Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, and no one to play with.

I wonder if Chris can still lose himself in games like Animal Crossing. From what I've seen of his videos on it before, it looks innocuous and monotonous, but is he still in the frame of mind to enjoy that? He does seem to be transitioning into adolescence mood-wise if not intellectually, and I wonder if he's more prone to resenting happy things. Like he attempted to say awhile back, he's not so happy go lucky anymore. Now that he's so angstistic, he might be seeking things that are a little moodier. Just not so moody that Old Mother Hoarder disapproves.

Considering his spending habits, that's not that unlikely actually.

Now imagine him playing all by himself saying, "I'm so lonesome... No friends... I need a girlfriend.." While using Princess Peach doing a campaign mode. XD :ugeek:

Hell, I'd buy Smash Bros. if I had a Wii U, never mind that nobody would play with me. In fact, I'm thinking about buying the 3DS version and borrowing my daughter's 3DS just to play it.

As a fan of the series it's definitely the best one yet and considering how little else Chris has to do it'd be a surprise if he hasn't got it.

Chris is currently playing "New Paint Park" for the PS Vita, which means he will buy more PSVita and PS3 games, so I don't think Chris will try to finish all the games.

Chris gets a Wii U, and I remembered in the Facebook thread someone managed to get some posts from Chris's MiiVerse profile. Hope to get some more news about this.

Chris is also a moron when it comes to things on sale. He'll buy games if he sees a big mark down or a limited time offer. It doesn't matter if he has no interest in the game itself and will probably never play it. He gets a high off the feeling that he got a bargain.

Is anyone here willing to count how much Chris has spent on PS3 and PSVita games so far?

Oh God. Speaking of which, he should try to play Persona 3 or 4...

The neo-Japan and dark references of apocalypse, deities, demons and gods will just fly on his head. Trust me, I'm a Shin Megami Tensei fan and not all people get the reference of the game nor the concept.

It's a good point. For example, I remember a point when I was young where I didn't want to grow up and I resented the idea of leaving my childhood behind... Much like Chris, only I was 10,11,12 years old or something. Now I vividly remember occasions where I would sit down to play with my toys, but I'd just go through the motions; you can't try and play, you just play.

So when Chris goes on about losing his "youth and sunny energy" or whatever, I think it's a case where he just can't do the things he associates with being happy anymore, but he doesn't realise that he's just growing up and in true cwc-style he blames trolls.

There's also the fact that he's clearly depressed, and a symptom of depression is that you no longer find joy in the things that used to make you happy.

Even when he gets invested in his games, it seems like he can't let go of his vendettas. Most of the content we've found revolved around his miserably lonely virgin existence, and fighting his real-life enemies (even if many were false or imagined). When I play a particularly immersive game, the bitter middle aged woman with the Napoleon complex disappears, and I just enjoy being someone else. When Chris plays a game, it seems like the petulant adult autistic child is just projected upon that world - anger, jealousy, paranoia, spite, lust, greed, and all. Chris' incapable of empathizing with real people, so why would he be any more capable with fictional characters? Maybe he's different, playing other games, but I sort of wonder if video gaming isn't really much an escape for him after all... He's just all Chris-Сhan, all the time.

He hasn't posted anything on his profile since 12/26. :tomgirl:
