chris is working on a shrek remake collab from 3GI - 11/29 - Full movie is released

His part was still better than the "But you are beautiful" trio at the end, who didn't put in the slightest modicum of effort except for tinting their skin green.
Someone must have done the editing for Chris' part. The brief animation is very smooth and the cuts are well timed with Chris' lines. I honestly thought it was funny, horrible, and charming in a way only Chris can manage.

So putting 3 words on an image is so difficult and time-consuming Chris can't do it himself. Who'd have thought being a goddess is not that easy.
I would say Chris doesn't know how if he didn't do it for every issue of Sonichu (sans 16).

Honestly the whole movie is a clusterfuck. Those make-up animations only work because everyone involved actually can animate. lot of these clips were garbage. Chris's wasn't even the worst one. I guess the general shit quality made the actually well done scenes and voice-acting look better though.
I mean, that's kind of the point of a collaboration like this. A lot of the people involved don't make the same kind of content. Some of it is meant to be hot garbage, some of it is better than the actual movie, and some of it is not great. And then there's Chris.

Lord Farquaad reminds me of a certain someone.

I like how everyone else's parts were meant to be Low-Effort and or Meme-ish, and thus they were the best ones in terms of quality and humor, yet Chris took this the most serious and is the worst one of the bunch.

Also I find it funny that he had to announce himself right before his segment, as if the Description and Credits didn't give him credit enough. Not to mention that it also came right after the best segment in the collab. (The anime-styled battle.)

I appreciate the choppy audio and dim green lighting during Chris' introduction; it makes it look like a classic CWC video. The collab itself was just le randumb humor and memes so can't say I enjoyed it very much

Idk where some of you are coming from complaining that this isn't Cannes film festival level work when it's literally a bunch of nobodies from the internet, has Chris of all people as a billed contributor, and has Shrek as the subject matter.

My thoughts on Chris' segment: I highly doubt Chris volunteered to be in this, that being said I'm both sympathetic and impressed that whoever was in charge of managing contributors got Chris to keep the deadline let alone start his bit at all, they must've had their hands full communicating with him. If they handpicked him for this they definitely know the nature of his work and had someone on hand to animate his drawings in post. The fact that Chris didn't know Faarquad's name during and after working on this makes it all the more funny.

I thought Chris's segment was perfect for what it was. Nice clear rules he fucked up, couldn't bother to remeber a name, has a shot of the sonichu medal, man tiddies, and weird rambling at the start. All classic cwc production quality. I'm a little surprised he didn't just hold up the pictures in front of the camera though.

The whole thing was worth watching while drinking if you've got nothing going on and the David Leib Hart segment was fantastic.

I'm honestly super impressed by the movie as a whole, nobody was expecting Chris' part to be a masterpiece but the whole thing reminded me of this:
