You know, it would be funny if failing a piss test was the one thing that stopped Chris from skating on all his charges next week.
 
He ate some brownies after the convention. The funniest thing I could see him doing is trying really hard to see a stereotypical drug trip from the cartoons. He grew up during the years when cartoons were constantly showing DARE and general "Don't do drugs" messages at the end of a show. He lives by cliches he sees on TV so seeing Chris think he was high before the brownies actually kicked in would have been funny as hell.
 
Wow, between dying his hair, going against his mother's wishes and now having done the weed, Chris is becoming a proper little rebellious teenager.

I had to see this movie (the German version) in school in 7th grade, that is, when I was 12 years old (corresponding to Junior High in the US). My classmates were about 1 year older than me. It was a time when most of us were whispering to each other about watching porn and horror movies on VHS, and I had just read "The Futurological Congress" by Stanislav Lem (a science fiction novel which actually can be understood to have kind of a -- very weird -- anti-drug message).
None of us were duly impressed with Garfield and Winnie Pooh fighting weed smoking.
