He probably has a normal memory. His ego just warps his memories so that he thinks everything is the fault of those dang dirty trolls.

Remember that episode of South Park where Cartman and Jimmy write the fish sticks joke? Remember how every time Cartman tried to remember the event he became more and more the hero? This is how I imagine Chris's memory works.

Exactly!, it's like, if he remembers something (key word: if) he remembers it using a relatively normal memory... but if he keeps trying to remember things, specially those things that involve him somehow, the memories gets twisted more and more until finally he ends up being the victim/hero... so, he ends up tricking himself...

Perfect example is the elementary school incident. It started as recorded screams (Matthew Devoria call), then it was mild uncomfortable situation with a gay principal (Alec Benson Leary Call 8?, too lazy to check), we'll just ignore how someone would know if a person was gay or not before the age of 9. Now, it's full blown attempted molestation and physical abuse (Facebook review), in a few years he'll talk about how his teachers did lines while the principal was holding a gun to his head.

I imagine most of his "girlfriends" have blended together in his mind, he may not largely remember anything about one or two of them. I tend to have a fairly sharp memory for ridiculous trivial things but then blank out on things I should remember, like details about actual relatives. (no spergeo)

Chris just remembers what he wants to remember how he wants to remember it. He wants to paint Megan as evil, so he remembers things about her that serve that view. If he wanted to remember her in a positive way, he would only remember how nice she was to him at times. Oh, and I'm sure Borb has a helping hand in how he remembers things,

This. He remembers what he wants to and forgets the "unimportant" stuff. He could probably recite the names, ages, physical dimensions, special powers, and everything else about every retarded Sonichu supporting character he's ever "created" (read: ripped off from a video game or tv show), and recreate his Animal Crossing towns flawlessly from memory if need be. But details about people who are no longer a part of his life? Forget it. I haven't seen any evidence that he so much as even realized or acknowledged the second anniversary of Bob's death.

Somebody should get Chris some crossword books or some sudoku, clear out those cobwebs.

Nice idea, but games in a book would never be able to compete with PSN for Chris' attention.

Chris remembers what he wants to remember. It's a good thing he has so many people archiving everything he does recently so he'll have help to remember later.

Actually, Chris does do sudoku. Probably extremely basic sudoku, but he does do it.

In addition to the notion that Chris remembers events with a strong emotional impact, whether positive or negative, I think it follows that his memory of these events is bolstered by obsessing over and replaying them, whether to relive his supposed glory days or moping over past defeats.

Don't forget that he replays them also so he can rewrite them, and turn his history into a fiction that he thinks will serve his current schemes.
