As TERF-y as I am, I think it’s fair to admit that whatever is going on with Chris is probably a distinct psychopathology from “gender dysphoria”. However, these people all have so many mental health co-morbidities that they are often only a more mild version of CWC in practice.

"Misgendering" is some Orwellian doublespeak. Pronouns in English have always referred to sex. They have nothing to do with "respect" or "rights" or "gender identity" (which I don't believe exists). I call people what they are. Chris is male. That's not dehumanizing, it's reality. I wouldn't call Hitler "she" because he's male, because it's not accurate. It has nothing to do with repsect. When you coddle Cluster Bs, you just make them worse. Stop the cycle. Stop using "preferred pronouns" for anyone.
