There's definitely a cognitive dissonance with trans people, in that they used to once have a basic bar for what being "trans" was that certainly differed between different groups in some regards, but could be followed that a general consensus was that you were trans if
a) you had some dysphoria
b) transitioned or were in the process of transitioning
Now thats being trans, not necessarily being a woman. It does seem that there were once transpeople who understood that they were transwomen at best, but not actual women. Why modern trans rights activism is built on a house of cards and has no stable base, besides the issues with gender ideology and biological denialism, is the self-identity retardation.
There is either no bar, or the bar has been tossed so low in the gutter at this point, that any and all trans people are hecking valid and there's no control or gatekeeping within the movement at all at this point. One doesn't even need to be transitioning to be trans, one can fully intend to keep their breasts or penis, and still be considered trans. One doesn't need dysphoria to be trans. With genderfluid, one can identify as trans for an hour, and then as whatever else the next. What trans has more to do with, at this point, is as we all know being less rooted in any physical reality or logical consistency, but more adherence to an ideology and cult. There's no way for troons to self police their community, nor do they even have the realization, that seems obvious, that they very much should for anyone to justify taking them seriously in any capacity, regardless of their beliefs on how to react to trans people past that.
For the ones saying that CwC isn't trans and attempting damage control, you're right, they would be hypocrites if they attempted to exile CwC, but not 95% of their own community. The point is, that they honestly should, but won't. They've dug themselves a hole, and now they have to deal with it and there's no way to crawl out. CwC is the true face of the modern transgender movement, and that should be damning unto itself because if they had the inkling to go against him, they'd also be going against core tenants of their own community in the process. It's really a catch 22 situation, that I take a lot of personal delight in.
