According to the cwcki, Christian and the Hedgehog Boys was "released" ( :tomgirl: ) in 2006. So it's safe to assume that one day he just decided that Mellow is a Yellow Color PERFECTLY fit to the tune of Macarena. And somehow he couldn't find the karaoke version of it.

The tomgirl album was our idea. We all suggested various songs. I think I suggested "Johnny, Are You Queer?" but my memory could be off.

Probably the best choice on the album. At least to me. I find his utter inability to say the word gay or queer absolutely hilarious. Also his little monologue is hilarious and utterly fascinating. As for my favorite Chris musical moment I can only think of one.

Ok, I just confirmed it: I was the one who picked "Johnny, Are You Queer?" But yeah, what I love about Chris' version of that song is how worked up he is over the possibility that this imaginary Johnny character might be gay. He's so bothered by this, and it's hilarious.

I would have picked "Ask" by The Smiths. Chris doing that would be hilarious. Of course, Chris singing anything is hilarious.
 
He must only spend a minute or two rewriting the lyrics. They are that bad.

I'm still picking Holding Out for a Hero, though It's a Heartbreak is more fitting for his life.
