I don't really believe this at this time. Obviously PVCC has provided us with accurate information in this past, but given the date.... Well, if things don't change early next week, then I'll believe that Chris was stupid enough to try to do this.

It might have been the Best Buy, but it was not Chris' Best Shoplift.

Well, Chris didn't get in trouble for it. Apparently, he dumped (lol, :briefs:) the stuff the minute the lumbering security guard got too close to him. So he's totally on Best Buy's shit list now. They know him and they're going to watch him like a hawk next time.

I'd like to know what he was trying to steal. Was stuff he could actually need or was it just stuff he wanted?

I wonder if this is the start of a new saga. The Chris the Criminal Saga.

Alternatively, I wonder what made Chris do this. I mean besides his entitlement-complex, the house fire and being poor and stupid. He made a video for an unknown potential sweetheart and has probably been speaking to them for a while, for all we know she's (or he's) convinced Chris that theft is the easiest way to get the things he wants.
Chris has always had a funny view of the law. He does not respect the police and sees nothing wrong with bending laws if it suits him, but theft seems like too big a step for him. Wouldn't Chris have been raised to believe that stealing = BAD, kind of like speeding limits? At the very least it'll be interesting to see the mental gymnastics Chris will have to pull to blame others when he finally gets busted.

Chris said:
I was framed! Framed, I tell you! It was the trolls!

I honestly don't even know what to say at this point. Just.....goddammit, Chris.

Some electronics are a need, like gift-giving or a tablet for work, mp3 player for work/school commute...

Oh...Chris:tugboat:...well he needs his weekly vidya be never finishes

I'm keeping a stance of "Innocent until proven guilty" on this one, but I think a good question would be what sort of items would Chris try to steal from a Best Buy? Also, what would prompt Chris to attempt it in the first place?

Not that I'd ever doubt Marvin, but I really really want this to be true.

Does Best Buy even sell anything you might actually need?
I don't really know what Best Buy sells as I've never been to one but I assumed Chris wasn't stuff iPads up his shirt or trying to take anything of any real value given the fairly relaxed response of the security.

I was just curious if Chris was going for the big times or starting off with something small like bubblegum. Knowing Chris though, he probably thinks he's a master thief already.

I'm sure he was trying to get his paws all over a full season set of Gilligan's Island or Bewitched*yawn**yawn*

They have video games. I think that explains enough, sadly.
