I bet someone put the idea in his head. It's very rare, like I've spent 8 years doing this, 6 of them in an extremely busy studio in Dublin. And remember that out of the 3, only 1 was requested. I suggested the other two.

Also I wouldn't have used a straight barbell, a slightly curved one, about 2mm bigger than your measurement of entry and exit holes to allow for swelling, then after a month or 6 weeks change it for a smaller one. But that's just me. A curved barbell goes with the shape of the body better in some piercings e.g eyebrow and less resistance is better.

I think what MSP may be getting at is that something from Chris' "involvement" in the LGBT community may have put it in his head, not a troll. That's kidn of what I think. if he got the idea off the internet or some person on the street there's no reason we'd know about it.

Given that Chris linked the Wiki article on scissoring in his FB post about the piercing, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he Googled "how do lesbians have sex" once he decided he was translesbian and came across references to perineal piercings that way. Intimate piercings are a thing in a lot of LGBT circles, so he's bound to come across a lot of things he previously didn't know about if he's seeking out information online and in real life on how being trans "works".
