Chris - The Legal Issues - A Prosecutor's Perspective

The comedian Ron White said something that made me think of Chris. " Has the right to remain silent. But not the ability." Chris will have outbursts and try to go on about the merge in any hearing He is going to be at. He will have to be removed from the room.

i wonder what's different about chris that his trial is so hidden?
other crazy people are considered sane enough to go to trial.
look at jeffrey dahmer, or charles manson, or ted bundy, or that one hispanic kid who shot people up.
chances are chris will plead out, but i want details dammit.

Because Chris is Special needs and he's done a disgusting Crime, that is delicate if not complex - and it's liable to turn into a public spectical given a cursory investigation into Chris and The Gunt crying out loud during his arrest attesting to his infamy, so they are trying to keep this as under the radar as they can.

This is for Chris's sake, and for Barbs and oddly enough the local community - Chris isn't all there, Barbs not there most of the tiem either even if she said Oh yes I had wilfull relations with my son there there a argument to be made she didn't know what she consented to, Chris might be viewed by the Judge, Prosecution and Defence of having Molested Barb but the situation is dicey and it's best to err on the side of caution and go for the lowest they can prove without doubt than pushing it and it falling through on a technicality and deal with a perennial neusance in a more final way.

Because it's family court which is always closed for very obvious reasons

So despite his trademark incompetence, lack of intelligence and social graces, and atrocious repulsive nature, Ethan Ralph actually managed to help another human being on a certain level.

This is possibly the best thing he has ever done.

Even if he did it by accident? would that count?

He is only capable of doing positive things by accident.

Whether it is for himself or other people, selfless action is always unintentional!

That's what I mean, say Chris came upon a accident just by happenstance and a voice of authority pointed him out and said YOU BIG LUMP hold this and he held a vein closed for a victim of an acident, does that count as a good deed or does that count as him just following an authority.

Where does common decency and social responsibility end?

Well to be fair to Chris, he is a delusional fuckwit.

In his mind he has perfectly reasonable and good intentions, it’s just he lives in an outright fantasy land.
Macing a GameStop employee in his crusade to keep Sonic’s arms white, was probably a decent action in his personal logic.
These events would be a result of Chris’s perception of common decency and social responsibility.
If he was ordered to pinch a vein in the way you say, I doubt he would actually comprehend what he was doing.

Ethan Ralph on the other hand is only delusional with the drink, but he has to drink to escape the agony and humiliation of being The Gunt.

Ralph is twisted by bitterness and cannot even bring himself to care for his children or mothers of his children.

If someone ordered him to pinch a vein he would attempt to fight the orderer, to try to prove his manliness. Only to slip on the blood, hurt himself and have to create another story about being outnumbered again.

Ralph’s reasoning to be in proximity of Chris at the time of his arrest was probably in some form of hope that if he could be directly compared to Chris Chan, he would look dynamic and manly.

Unfortunately this would not be the case, but even so, he still accidentally did the best thing he ever has done in his life.
Out of bizarre failure comes a positive.

TBH I thought i was.

Chris was all for the reboot until someone pointed out to him there was a small portion of people complaining about the Blarms, he only got onboard with it it when it was pointed out it would contradict his cannon.

He Maced the guy because he thought it was a No Fuck U, underpinning to his personal authority, he carried a Bat after it in the same way thinking that the weapon was a totem of power, I'm not being funny if he tried that on most people he'd find it shoved up his arse sideways, Chris isn't strong, or skilled he is always going to come off the worst and if he uses a weapon he will find it used on him in short order.

The Gunt will gunt, I doubt he even lacks awareness a normal dad has when it comes to catching a kid if they fall over.

With Ralph I can't really comment I just know he's a short tubby idiot, he'd try hard but still fail.

Family court isn't mandatory to be closed when there are no children involved. The judge chose to close it after media/kiwi interest in the initial J&DR hearing.
Just as well, if the judge hadn't, it would have been disrupted with even more extreme autism than it already has, which might even prejudice the proceedings.

Fucking weens. They are why we can't have nice things.

We could have had a couple of farmers at each hearing, sitting in the back of the courtroom, not bothering anyone, while quietly taking notes. Instead we get all these assholes trying to become internet famous off Chris and ruining everything for everyone.

It’s possible Chris is too stupid to assist in his defense and his time in the bug house is to educate him.

Chris is really not in their league. As I understand it from reading posts by law kiwis, something like murder is one of the few times a defendant wants to go to trial. Chris is just charged with incest at the moment.

Really? I’d never heard this before.

It's gross as fuck but nowhere near as serious of a crime as it is gross. Unless it's upped to rape in which case he's fucked, but the longer this just completely stands still the more likely it looks to me like they're going to run out the clock and cut a deal. I hope I'm wrong and we get to see Heilberg in action in Circuit Court but yeah, no.

I don't think anyone was disruptive at the hearing (except for Chris, obviously). They were more worried about what had happened during the arrest with the Gunt. In fact I don't know if any weens or kiwis were even at that hearing, as it didn't appear online (since it went to J&DR). I thought one made it but now I'm having trouble finding if one did (memory can be a terrible thing). We mostly just seem to have the one local reporter to go on.

So yeah it's weens fault probably, but they might have closed further hearings for other reasons. If nothing else just to not give Chris an audience from the media.

It involes a sex crime against an elderly relative that carries a heavy social stigma for all involved.
