Hope? Lmao. He won't be allowed to function in normal societyThanks, Null.
There really is no hope for this dude, huh?
Chris is Solid Christ, the real Jesus is Liquid Christ. If anyone’s the anti-Christ it’s probably Chris.
My interest in the insanity plea play isn’t in that it’s a viable reality, it’s in that Chris seems to be conducting himself as if it is. He just keeps raising the bar, even well after we should’ve stopped assuming that was possible. Seriously, watch him try to drop his competent attorney for not playing along now.Y'all really can't drop this "insanity plea" nonsense. Prison is where insane people go. You go into court, act insane, say you're literally Jesus, and you go to prison.
Sane people do not commit violent crimes. If it's something like drug dealing or tax evasion, sane people are in it for the money, but violent crimes (such as raping your mother) are not committed by mentally normal people. If being mentally ill and delusional got you out of prison, there would be zero convictions.
Probably. But not because of this. Chris has pretty much always believed himself to have some special role within religion and has always viewed himself as a Christ-like figure. Is Chris going to hell because of this blasphemy?
Thanks for correcting me with the verdict on point #1. I am not a lawyer or a legal professional, but I AM a casual enthusiast in legal Autism. And yes, he's doing a really, really shitty job at attempting to gain an insanity plea. The most interesting thing about this is that he's trying the Religious plea mixed with the stereotypical "Yahoo! I'm a flying Mouse bouncing off the walls like Daffy Duck!!!" Cartoon Gag Insanity plea. Here's a tip for those who are in the same situation as our fallen "Angel" Christopher: Don't do this. You're only fooling yourself. For one, Insanity pleas are very, very, VERY hard to win any case with on a good day. And in the United States, insanity pleas are ultra-rare in that regard, with only 1% of criminal cases having such a plea raised and only 25% of THOSE cases within that 1% being successful. Or in layman's terms, they're only successful 0.25% of the time in the United States alone.let's focus on the 4 key points:
1. Chris can clearly understand the charges, he's not a vegetable.
2. Chris is able to understand the charges, but only in hindsight and after its been spelled out to him on an ABC123 level. Its what's got him in trouble for decades.
3. Chris would never, ever admit to not knowing right and wrong, even though he's only able to understand the concepts through the lens of a cartoon for YOs.
4. Chris was coerced into it, but willingly fucked his mom. He could have said no, could have just said he did it when he didn't to placate Issabella, but he didn't. He clearly wanted to hop in bed with 'barbie-chan.'
He's not getting off on an insanity charge.
....
Oh dear god that's why he's going all Jesus in jail. he's trying to act crazy in the only way his TV drenched mind can formulate: because acting like Jesus feeds his monstrous Ego and gives him the moral high ground while also (poorly) making him sound crazy for an insanity plea. It won't work, but it makes sense for our proud idiot.
Like Denver Fenton Allen?Seriously, watch him try to drop his competent attorney for not playing along now.
All I wanted was an update so I'm good now.On one hand, it's cool Chris gave some kind of update from inside jail. On the other hand, Chris is clearly fucking bonkers at this point, which is sad.
You should keep reading.Listed here is the Insanity Standard as defined by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
Here, the standard defines the legal term of Insanity with a series of tests, both Cognitive and Volitional. Which scrutinises 4 categories for an insanity plea to be valid.
1) As a result of mental disease or defect: Psychotic disorders and "Settled Insanity" as a result of substance abuse, as well as Intellectual disorders QUALIFY, intoxication does NOT QUALIFY.
2) The defendant did not understand the nature, character, and consequences of his or her act.
3) Was unable to distinguish right from wrong.
4) Was unable to resist the impulse to commit the act.
Chris has, of course, failed Categories #2, #3 and #4. Because in his letters to Josh, he fully admits and attempts to justify his actions, genuinely deludes himself into thinking that what he did was the RIGHT thing to do, and acted on his impulses with complete control and awareness. Because he is rationalising his actions and believes he's done nothing wrong, one can argue that Chris has the capacity and ability to distinguish right from wrong and was at the time of the crime, capable of understanding the nature of his actions.
This is the Diminished Capacity Standard as defined by the Law Code of Virginia
The difference here is that there are five sections, listed from A-E, regarding a person's ability to make an informed, adult decision.
Of course, there are exceptions as listed in Section C, which pertains to whether the person has granted an agent the authority to consent to admission in a facility for mental health care in advance. While people have argued earlier in multiple threads that Janke influenced Chris into committing the act, Chris was self-aware enough to hold the capacity to proceed with his actions (this, of course, isn't the FIRST time he's taken it upon himself to commit a criminal act, remember the GameStop Mace Arc in November 2014 or the time where he nearly ran-over the manager of The Game Place). As such, if he wasn't capable of making any informed decisions, he wouldn't have admitted to Incest in the first place while showing zero signs of duress or pressure before and during his stint in Jail.
Yes, it's the only unforgivable sin. https://biblehub.com/mark/3-29.htmIs Chris going to hell because of this blasphemy?
