I really hope Null has the good sense not to respond to Chris in any way. Anyone who has ever had dealings with these prison/jail types knows they are an endless black hole of "gimme". And then nothing in the way of recognition or gratitude in return.

That was always the nature of their relationship. Always. Null doing so much for Chris and getting only laziness, lies and deceit in return. And in his head, that should explain everything.
