Interests ChrisChan Interview Part 4+5(3/28/16)

These are so frustrating to listen to. The interviewer is constantly cutting Chris off and interrupting him instead of letting him ramble on and expand on his answers. If the interviewer could just remain silent for five seconds after Chris gives an answer, he could get more content, but he seems satified with insubstantial soundbites. The concept of the follow-up question is alien to him; he's got his list of questions, and by golly he's going to get through them. He doesn't bother to actually listen to Chris's answers to see if they might point in interesting new directions. I suppose this is ungrateful of me, but I'm just disappointed about the missed opportunities.

Great interview Master Disaster, although I'm honestly not surprised. Chris being so up front about the situation with the Impulse club is my favourite part of the interview, it's interesting that he hasn't been there in quite a while, he doesn't even sound that fond of it for that matter. I thought the general consensus was Chris does a decent amount of socialising nowadays so I'm confused what he's doing if he hasn't been to Impulse. I also think it's fair to say he offended someone with the 'Itty Bitty Titty Committee,' name which is why he brought that up.
What qualifies as a "decent amount of socializing" can vary. I would say that outside of winter, Chris goes out to various places maybe about once a month, at least. Sometimes he'll find something like Impulse that he likes a lot and hits up regularly. He's kind of mopey this winter though, so I don't think he's been getting out that often. That'll probably change when spring rolls around.
I love even after all these years Chris still believes certain stupid things like Bluespike may be dead and that people troll him out of jealousy.
Truly amazing.
It's that after school special "bullies only bully you because they hate themselves" shtick.

Chris is far, far more difficult to talk to than you might realize. If the conversation isn't kept in check Chris will either blankly sit there in silence or ramble off into different tangents. Is it fast paced? Yes. Does it keep Chris from answering questions? No. Trust me when I say if I didn't keep him moving along he'd quickly lose interest or his train of thought.

Like MasterDisaster Said

And Master also succeeded to get close to Chris and ask him nearly 60 minutes worth of stuff and gained his trust,it's something that hasnt been done in a while because of Chris tendency to shut down people. The interviews were funny and we still learned a couple of interessting thing.Plus a Donald Duck impression.

HOLY SHIT! He finally mentioned the blank gift cards that I sent him two years ago! I thought that maybe he didn't open the package at all and just threw it away or something.

Also, if another interview is coming and if you can do it is a tasteful and non-confrontational way, can you inquire about the fecal incontinence thing? Something like, "My business partners are gravely concerned about certain aspects of your health, we want to ensure that you are sufficiently physically fit in order to engage in this business venture?" Might be a good opportunity to find out other health related things, current weight, blood pressure issues, pants / bra size, bent duck, etc.

Re : the jealousy thing : he's both right and wrong. People who trolled Chris likely weren't likely jealous of him, the extension of the trolls, i.e us forumers(he counts everyone talking smack of him as a "troll") had people who were severely butt-ruptured by the fact that Chris was happy to siphon taxpayer money to sit on his ass all day and play vidya, people who were angry that Chris was successful in monetizing his subpar creations and the infamous hooker incident. So yes, there have been plenty of people jealous of Chris, but he's wrong about the fact that it was the driving force of the actual trolling schemes.

Can someone please provide a transcript for Interview Three? I'm afraid I won't be in a position to listen to it for quite a while, and I didn't see a transcript for Part Three anywhere. If it's been posted already I apologize.

I'm almost done writing one right now, I'll get it posted a little later tonight.

My life is now complete now that I've heard Chris' Donald Duck impression. Or is it scarred?

I'm still not sure if Chris acknowledged the question regarding Barb's passing. It was added on at the end of another question (which was a good idea) so I'm not sure if he missed it, just refused to process it, or if he was insinuating that Barb passing is so far into the future that he'd easily have a girlfriend by then.

I guess we did not hear the same awkward mumbles and pauses....it was 23 minutes long

It's not jealousy, it's misplaced anger at a system that allows this crap, but as long as the system is not willing to change, people will continue to highlight its flaws
